DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY! THIS SALON IS GHETTO PLUS THEY DO SLOPPY WORK! I GOT FULANI BRAIDS TO WEEKS AGO AND THEY ALREADY LOOK FRIZZY BC MY HAIR WAS DIPPED PAST MY REAL HAIR. Critical: ProfessionalismI just simply went in to Aquire about my daughter getting her hair braided I had the hair style picture when I walked . I was very nice when talking to her. When I showed her the picture she just stared at it and then asked how old my daughter was and then told me no it too much of a headache. anyways I’m very happy she didn’t have a chance to touch my daughters healthy hair with that nasty attitude and I’m mostly happy that my money goes to somebody who deserve it and have the passion for itI just simply went in to Aquire about my daughter getting her hair braided I had the hair style picture when I walked . I just simply went in to Aquire about my daughter getting her hair braided I had the hair style picture when I walked . I was very nice when talking to her. When I showed her the picture she just stared at it and then asked how old my daughter was and then told me no it too much of a headache. anyways I’m very happy she didn’t have a chance to touch my daughters healthy hair with that nasty attitude and I’m mostly happy that my money goes to somebody who deserve it and have the passion for it

The worst experience I ever had. First I bring my sister in and she tells me she’s not combing out her hair. So she hands me the comb and tells me to comb it out. Next she continues to do the wrong type of braids in her hair, my sister is telling me there short (kinky braids) and she asked for Senegalese twist. The lady at the door is confirming that they are the Senegalese she asked. When the lady goes downstairs she sees that it’s not in fact the braids that I asked for. The braided then goes to tell me that that’s the price she gave (the kinky twist price ) and refused to do the other ones for the price that i was told. I will never go here again. And I will post my experience on every review site I see for this place. I call my best friend to tell her about my experience and she says “yeah…no one goes there!! I wish you would have told me where you were going” also when I was there a lady was there for her second visit because her braids were HUGE in the middle and messing up after a week.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityOn Friday I walked in to make an appointment to get my hair braided, I showed margret ( the store owner) a photo of what I wanted: including the length, style and color, she told me the cost would be 165. A few days later I showed up to my appointment the braider is telling me my style is 200 and they do not have the color hair I want, remind you I want the color 1B which is a basic color all braiding establishments should have. I was upset asked to speak with margret who was yelling in my face and punched me out the store. I have video to prove the assault. People please do not go there, they lie about the prices to rob innocent people. The storage room where they kept the hair was filled with rat traps, the place was dirty and unprofessional. Not to mention I got punched out because I told margret that it was unprofessional to tell me one price and then change it the day of my appointment. This was the worst hair braiding experience I have ever had. I asked for poetic justice braids it’s it took them two hours to get it right and by the end I’m still not satisfied because the knot of the braid was huge and the rest of the braid was like a micro braids I don’t understand how that happens but I would not recommend going there because of my horrible experience. also by the end I ask Margaret if she had any edge control because they are also an African hair shop she told me that they were fresh out and I could clearly see that there was a lot edge control and gels to choose from I could see where I’m not wanted so I will never NEVER go back there again.

I just got my box braids done from this salon and they came out amazing!! The staff was welcoming and nice 🙂 I would recommend getting your braids done here. I will definitely be returning for my next hair style.

They are beyond unprofessional. I have set multiple appointments where they have been overbooked. Don’t rely on an appointment they give you because they will call you last minute to cancel an appointment. Then the owner will yell at you when you call them unprofessional for not communicating properly and running a business right to keep customers.
