First off, I loved the salons decor. It was so cute and exquisite. I had an appointment and still had to wait an hour and 40 minutes for my daughter to get her hair braided. That was an issue for me because I had plans with my child already. My daughters hair looks nice but they are not feed-in braids because her natural hair is sticking out of the braids in the back, it’s not thick enough. More #2 hair should’ve been added when I told Amanda to do so. The young lady at the front desk (receptionist) needs to stay in her place, and mind her business. She is not the owner! I spoke to Marcia over the phone about the style and price before coming. The fact the receptionist was trying to charge me more when it was a first time visit after Marcia already told her how much to charge me she was still putting in her 2 senses. That made me feel some type of way. I only tipped the shampoo girl Mama on cash app. I would come back to Briana or another stylist, just not to Amanda tbh. My daughter loved her hair and she had an awesome day. Regardless the style my baby is very beautiful anything looks good on her. I would return back to this salon on special occasions for my child just because Marcia was very kind to me!! Thank you

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI love this salon they always get my baby girl right for the occasion I was referred by a friend but once I told my mom about it she said she had been going to Marcia’s for years. I love this salon they always get my baby girl right for the occasion I was referred by a friend but once I told my mom about it she said she had been going to Marcia’s for years. I’ve also gotten my locs done here also 5 star on the locs and my daughter is natural as well so she gets braids often but she also has gotten her natural hair flat ironed here also 5 star and the prices are affordable, black owned excellent’s !!
Not only cut hair too short an different sizes of cuts but put Fingerwaves in an it was so tight it pulled my scalp so hard it put places on my forehead. Washed them out in 3days too late. After 2wks Anna Marie called an wanted me to return to put more Fingerwaves in. That will never happen again

Macia’s hair salon has a very neat and clean atmosphere which is coloful, well lit and fully decorated. The owner and the technicians there are very professional and polite. The prices appear to be reasonable as compared with other prices at other hair salons. The rooms are bright and colorful and fully decorated with television and movie characters that children adore. Nevertheless, I think there should be more characters of color and not majority-white characters. After all, the majority of the customers are young black females and they should be able to identify with other characters of their same color, besides majority-white characters.
