This is an absolutely gorgeous salon. I’ve known Missy (Melissa Hill) since I was a young girl and I’m very thankful she’s still cutting hair 20 years later. I got a basic women’s haircut. I especially loved the time that she took to slowly shampoo my hair. It’s always my favorite part. Missy is full of knowledge and passion about her job. The salon that she has created has such a professional and comfortable environment. She also supports local artists to Knoxville and displays their artwork on the walls of salon, which I think is super special as a fellow photographer in this area. I highly recommend coming to this salon.

I had been going to this business for a year and would not recommend after a recent uncomfortable interaction with one of their employees. Their salon is a part of an apartment that I lived in which has street parking, owned by the city (allowed for anyone who pays for it). My car was parked in the front of the apartment building because I had a family member in town to help me move out. When we came into their salon for a haircut, another worker confronted me and scolded me for leaving our car there even though the spot is owned by the city and not their salon. After I tried apologizing and explaining, I was ignored, continually attacked, and told that I was in the wrong instead of understanding my point of view. It left the rest of the haircut appointment uncomfortable and I had to leave. As someone who has frequented this business in the past this interaction was incredibly uncomfortable and extremely unprofessional. I expected a little respect or understanding especially from people I knew. This situation could have been easily avoided if they had kindly asked me to move my car instead of berating me. I hope in the future they can extend more kindness and understanding to their clientele instead of treating them the way they chose to treat me.
