Was visiting Dallas and wanted to do something relaxing with my sister-in-law and she made massage appointments for us the day after Thanksgiving. Just a charming place with many unique lotions, candles, PJ’s, slippers, scarves, just so many cute and unique items. My massage was with V. She did a great job, focused on areas I needed and I felt great when I left. They also have a salon in addition to massage and fun items to buy. Really cute place!

I would not recommend. The experience was mediocer at best. A girl friend and I used a Groupon for facials. The main lady was unwelcoming and seemed put out by us coming a little early…I was expecting to change clothes (take of our coats at least) and have a few minutes in their relaxation room before our services….they do not have a relaxation room. So we sat in the cold lobby/store and waited. I got the Vitamin C Facial. My clinician was 19, fresh out of school, has only been working there 60 days. The facial comes with a neck and foot massage….my neck massage consisted of two swipes across the top of my shoulders with lotion and the foot massage consisted of the clinician sitting on the floor below bed level (SO ODD!) and she rub my feet randomly and intermittently with one hand…I suspect that she might have been texting at the same time. Honestly, I feel like she spent more time picking the mask out of my hair than the actual facial itself. The facility is old country…I wanted to love this place, it’s so cute from the outside, but I left disappointed and can not recommend Mapleshade Spa to any of my friends. It makes me sad to have to share this, because I’m a faithful patron of small businesses.

My fiance went there for her bachelorette party on Memorial Day weekend! They had the absolute best time! All her friends had wonderful things to say about all their services and technicians! And the value as great. Very reasonable prices. They were able to cater in their own food and drinks, and got to relax and chat in between services. This was one of the highlights of their weekend!

The person at the front desk is rude and impatient. The place is filthy with dust. Not a great ‘spa’ at all. It’s an old house, their is no spa to it. There was no one in the place and i felt like she was put out dealing with me. There is a reason they survive off groupons. Good luck maple shade spa. Not a great experience at all.

I had a relaxing facial at Mapleshade Spa. I felt pampered the whole time. I was concerned because I haven’t had any good experiences though groupon until now. The building was a little strange and out of date, but once I got into the room I found everything to be relaxing. I was surprised to see a colorful quilt instead of stark white that other places seem to favor. There were other homey aspects. There were also good smells everywhere from the minute I stepped in the door.

I had a massage and eye brow waxing within the last month at this spa. The massage was ok, for a price of greater than $100 it was underwhelming. Nothing special, the doors/walls were very thin so the loud sound of customers and spa workers was heard as you had your massage. It was hard for me to relax with this background noise.
