There are not to many places like this anymore. Walk in only /no appointments. Manny is a great guy and a wonderful barber. Highly recommended and worth the trip.

Manny is a good guy and good barber, but (sadly) in bad health and recovering from a broken back (which limits standing and hair cutting). At this time he does not schedule appointments. Walk-ins only and he closes at 2pm daily. Mostly loyal customers come in to support Manny. Haircuts are now $20 which is okay. If you are waiting in line, it can seem forever as he is slow. I support Manny, and tip him well.

Manny is a fantastic barber. His haircuts are simply the best. I have nothing but praise for his skill and commitment to his craft. Manny is an old school barber and his shop is just like what I think of when I think a barber shop. You can sit quietly and get a great haircut if you want, or you can engage Manny in some lively and possibly even thought provoking conversation. I’ve been going there for years now and I count Manny a friend, not just my barber. I have nothing but praise for this shop.

Manny’s Barber is a very solid mans man type of barber. It’s a one man operation and that man is Manny. Super nice guy, clean and spacious facility. Comfortable chairs and two old school comfy barber chairs. I really like it when a barber takes a little extra time to make sure your cut is right and doesn’t just whack it with a guard and send you on your way, and Manny take that little extra time. Thanks for a good cut Manny.

Manny’s is a great place! I have been going to him for about 4 years now and have changed my hairstyle 3 different times. Honestly, he has done a great job on all 3 of them. He is a little slow and it does kind of aggravating when you are behind 2 or more people but it is because he makes you feel important in the chair and he makes sure you get what you want.

There is a pretty good reason whyI like this shop…a REALLY good reason to the point where I refused to get a haircut by my uncle’s and aunt’s personal family barbershops. Because I knew it wasn’t worth it. If you are old fashioned like me and enjoy a lot of story telling and listen about fascinating discussions for over millions of topics and get advise from a true gentleman, then this is your shop. He is your best friend, big brother, and father all wrapped up in one and ge is the absolute best at what he does. He is pure dopamine. He is not only a barber in a barbershop…he is the pope in Galveston, TX in the United States of America.

I usually only go to Manny’s when I want a clean cut and shave. The new barber Erik knows what he is doing and I left there look like a million dollars. Highly recommend both of them!

Very good haircut at a lower price than most barbers. Good conversation as well. Manny is an old school barber, from the generation that knew how to do a proper haircut (as opposed to a hairstylist).
