Manny Rubalcava

  5.0 – 6 reviews   • Massage therapist

Manny Rubalcava is a manual therapy clinic focusing on improving posture, body awareness, and neuromuscular pain. What separates Manny from a lot of therapist is how he looks at the body from top to bottom to find imbalances. Imbalances often comes from bad posture; sleeping on one side, driving with one hand, or not having proper back support in a chair. These postures become a habit, which later become a natural pattern, which leads to imbalances. Addressing imbalances along with the area of pain is what gives you lasting results for an optimum body.

My favorite massage therapist I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a lot). Every session started with a posture assessment, and conversation of what’s necessary prior to the work. I am a very active person, from free diving, weight lifting, trail running, to bouldering, which tends to leave me with a lot I need worked on. I’ve seen Manny for IT band issues I’ve had since high school, shoulder/upper back tightness that is stress-triggered, and even for jaw work from grinding my teeth at night. At the end of our sessions, he always teaches me stretches and releases (MFR) to help my issue from coming back. I recommend Manny to everyone. 5 stars

I have never been to a massage therapist who knows as much about muscles and anatomy as Manny. On my first visit, he assessed my gait and posture. I did not realize that I had been walking with a slight limp, which was causing my lower back pain. He was able to help with the pain, and teach me how to correct my gait and what I had going on downstream, which then solved my lower back problems. I will choose Manny for any future aches and pains. Thank you!

I was having a flare up in my back, which is normal for my age I guess. I’ve been to chiropractors who will adjust me, but the problem only leaves temporarily. When I went to see Manny (referred by my daughter), he was able to pinpoint the issue causing my flare ups, and was able to diminish the pain, as well as teach me how to prevent it with specific stretches and releases. I recommend him to all my friends now.

I love that manny assesses my posture before the start of each visit. He is super thorough and takes me through step by step what needs to be done for my healing. I always feel a million times better after seeing him.

Love Manny and the work he does. You have to experience yourself to get an idea of what I am taking about.
