Megan V. is absolutely amazing and the only person I trust to do my hair! I started going to Megan for my hair in 2020. Before this, I struggled to find a hairstylist I liked, and bounced around from one place to the next, always disappointed in one way or another. That all changed when I met Megan though! Megan literally does hair MAGIC, and I am always blown away by the results!! My hair is constantly complimented since I’ve started going to her as well, something that never happened before! In addition to her amazing skills, she is always incredibly sweet, funny, and easy to talk to. I sincerely look forward to my appointments with her for both the major hair glow up and conversation. Can’t recommend her enough!!

I was SO fortunate to be able to have Megan Vandegriff work her balayage magic on my hair! Unfortunately I do not live in the same city, but it is worth the travel to get in to see her. She is extremely attentive and communicates the entire time to make sure she gives you the look you are going for. I have never felt so comfortable and trusting in someone styling my hair. She’s such a warm and caring person and a complete balayage expert! You will NOT regret going to Megan. Bonus, my HUSBAND even noticed and raved about it!

Not only is she extremely talented and can work hair magic, she makes the experience enjoyable and is a great person to spend hours in a chair talking to! Megan is absolutely incredible at what she does!!! Her techniques and knowledge are really unlike any other hairstylist I’ve had and I’m so thankful I found her. She knows so much about what she does, and you can tell that she loves doing it as well! On top of her skill, she is so fun and easy to talk to. She just moved from Chicago to Grand Rapids, but I’ll be trying to book with her whenever she is back in the city! Highly recommend- especially for balayage! She is truly a hair wizard.

My stylist Adrienne, was very professional, knew exactly what I wanted done to my hair and I was very satisfied with the end result! Plus she was prompt & very friendly! The salon is clean, has a comfortable, chic feel! All the staff were very friendly as well. I highly recommend Manic Muse and will be definitely returning.

Manic Muse is fantastic! They offer several different services and care about their customers. Being the first Green salon on this side of the state, it shows they care about the environment too. They use natural hair products that don’t test on animals and they recycle everything…all the way down to the hair clippings (used to clean up major oil spills)! The interior is very clean and modern looking. My stylist in particular is Izabella (Izzy) and she’s absolutely wonderful if you’re looking for someone new. She’s experienced, willing to try new things, offers great advice, etc. In summary, I love and highly recommend this place.
