Erin Thornton is amazing! She’s the best dermatologist I have ever seen, and one of the best doctors period. I was just looking her up because I now live in Texas, but plan to be in MHK this summer and prefer to see her than any dermatologist in Houston (I’ve tried a few). She’s thorough in her examination and I appreciate that she always has an assistant in the room, for everyone’s safety and comfort.

Erin has been treating me for several years and I have also had many minor cosmetic procedures performed. She and her staff have been so helpful and kind to me.

I looked forward to returning as a patient of Manhattan Dermatology (after moving away with the US Army). I scheduled my appointment in September and was happy to wait until 11/30/2020 to be seen. My appointment was scheduled at 8:45 and I arrived at 8:47 (I went to the old location first & hurriedly drove to the new location). I was stopped by the receptionist (young with blonde hair). She said that I was very late for my appointment and that I would have to re-schedule. I was talked to very condescendingly and left in tears. I would not recommend being a patient at this facility, no matter how good the doctors are. I work in a clerical position where treating paying customers is very important. Erin Thornton found some skin cancer, that I had very early and I have never found a better health provider but, I will never be a patient or recommend anyone to waste their money, just to be treated poorly by the first face that is suppose to welcome you. 12/14/2020 I wanted to reply to the owner’s comment, I do not live in Manhattan & had to travel an hour to two locations. My appointment reminder never said that I needed to arrive 30 minutes early or I would be late. I would never want to back up customers all day. I do have a screenshot of my appointment reminders & asked for paperwork two months early so I would have it ready when I arrived. We did not live in Manhattan when my family was as customers before, but only lived on Fort Riley which was not as far of a drive.

I did not feel satisfied with my visit to Manhattan Dermatology. I went there because of a recent acne outbreak on my face and the doctor recommended that I start taking hormonal medication, which I thought was a bit hasty considering that I had not even tried anything else. What really made me uneasy was that I had to ask very specific questions to get basic information such as whether a certain cream was better to use in the PM or AM, side effects, which medication I should not mix together… I had never been to a dermatologist before and thank God that I had looked up a few things on YouTube before going. It made me feel like I would not have gotten this information if I hadn’t known what to ask. To top it off, the Dr told me that certain creams might cause my skin to turn red as a side effect – I am a black woman. Sorry, but I will not be going back there

My daughter and I have been going here for a few years now. We love PA Erin. She is always so understanding and knowledgeable. She takes time to listen to our concerns. I have also seen Nurse Kerri for laser treatments and she is also great, makes you feel very comfortable.

I have lived in Manhattan for 20 years and visited about every dermatology place in town. This place is amazing. I can’t stress to everyone in town enough that you should go here first. When i first had a consultation everyone was amazing. BEYOND PROFESSIONAL! They were the first to diagnose my problem correctly and provide the correct recommendations. Then the minor surgery went perfect. The care from the front office to the doctor and assistants was beyond my expectations. No one likes to be poked and cut on but I can’t thank all of you enough for making that experience as comfortable and friendly as possible..I will be a life long customer.
