For those who ding Antonio for reservation inconveniences, this is an old school shop, not a fancy spa with hostess. He tries to accommodate. Sometimes it doesn’t work conveniently. Antonio is focused on doing hair, works a long day, it is what it is. He works super hard long days for his age and is popular in the community. You may have a wait. Take a walk and enjoy the town.

Walked in the door at 1:55 for my 2:00 appt. There was only one barber in there cutting someones hair. There was another gentleman waiting so at 2:10 I asked the barber his name and said I have a 2:00 appt. He said he gave the other gentleman a 2:00 appt earlier in the day and I need to wait. I’ve been coming here to have Antonio cut my hair since I moved to the beach cities in 2014, and I’m always very happy with the result (and I’ve changed styles over time). Antonio has been doing this for 50 years and probably will do it for another 50! While I always use Antonio (I’m just a creature of habit), any of the other barbers in this establishment will also do a great job (George or Anthony). Very disappointing. I and a 1020am appointment and when I arrived on time, the 10am appointment hadn’t been helped. The one guy cutting hair didn’t even say hi so I didn’t day “bye”

Walked by and saw a sign that says walk-ins welcome and decided to give it a try. I usually go to a chain style barber so I didn’t know what to expect. It’s something special when you get a seasoned experienced barber from Argentina who uses techniques that you will only see at a local shop like this one. I didn’t even really know what to tell him when he asked what I wanted I just said “shorter, it’s too long” and he made my hair look so good! All of this for only $25?! It’s a deal for sure, especially with this location!
