If you have naturally curly Black hair, do not come here. I feel horrible writing this because Susie was very nice and accommodating, but she ruined my curls. I went to get a deva cut and asked for just a trim/shape and she cut nearly 5 inches and cut it unevenly in an A line fashion, which was not what I asked for. She ruined my hair which took me 5 years to grow and I’ve never been more upset with a haircut. Susie was professional about it and did not charge me for the cut, but she completely ruined my hair to where I can’t even stand to look at it and it will take years to grow back.

I only get my hair cut once a year in fear that I won’t get the cut I want. Susie made sure to cut it just enough to keep my long hair while also taking care of the dead ends. She has curly hair too and understands how to cut it and style it in a way to avoid frizz. I don’t like when they over defuse my hair and she knows how to do it in a way where you won’t walk out looking like a frizz ball! Her rate is the best bang for my buck I’ve gotten in a while.
