Mary is the very best! She gave me beautiful highlights and was so friendly. My hair Is very thick and she took her time and the prices were very good. Mary also did my hair for my wedding and all my bridesmaids, along with my daughter. She did a fantastic job! I have never felt more beautiful! I will always get my hair done by Mary from now on.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI have been going to Mane Event for probably 15 years. Recently they hired a young women who took over my retired hairstylist’s chair. She seemed immediately annoyed that I had long hair and was rude from the beginning ofThe appointment. She barely spoke two words to me for the nearly 2 1/2 hours that I was there. It was extremely painful when she brushed out my hair (and I have a tough head) and then the application of the color was blotchy and not well blended. When I pointed out the spots to her, she said that’s how balayage was suppose toLook. (I have had balayage many, many times). I did speak with the manager about this and while I still love the Mane Event, I will not be seeing this women again. She seems inexperienced , immature and unprofessional.The picture below is only 1 of the many spots throughout my hair that was not well blended.I have been going to Mane Event for probably 15 years. I’ve been here a couple of times to get my hair cut by Teslah and she’s great. She’s very friendly, does a great job, and the prices are very fair. She does a great job of asking questions about what you want before cutting your hair to make sure you get exactly what you want.

I have been going to The Mane Event Salon for several years. Brittney Laney Shafer is my stylist. I have short, fine, thin hair. She does an exceptional job with my short haircut and color. I have found not everyone knows how to give a good short haircut. I walk out of there with a rich, shiny color and my hair looks way thicker than it is…more body too. I get compliments on it all the time. Britt has a way of making you feel you are her favorite customer. She remembers the names of my children and always shows interest. Everyone there is very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend The Mane Event and Britt…especially if you like a cute short haircut.
