I visited this spa last week with my husband. We did a couples massage. Upon walking in we were promptly greeted and taken to the back. The location is very pretty and started off with a very relaxing vibe. The space does appear to a little dated, which I didn’t mind. However, the towels used smelled old. That was a major turn off for me. Towards the end of the massage, when we should feel relaxed, the construction noise started. I understand that these things cannot be helped to a certain extent, but if someone is paying $500+ for a massage I expect to walk away relaxed and a little less stressed. Seeing that the hotel is affiliated with Disney I had high expectations and they were not met. The 3 stars I am giving is for the massage therapists and reception. The employees were all very polite and addressed all of my questions.

Our experience in the Mandara Spa at Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotel was wonderful. We didn’t have a service done by a person (we had the Normatec Compression Massage), but the woman who took care of us got us settled in to our chairs, offered us a mimosa, and made sure we had everything we needed to ease the ache of our marathon running legs! Access to the relaxation areas of the spa was soothing and relaxing and everyone was very nice. We are not regular spa attendees so I don’t have a comparison, but our experience was awesome and I would go back. Thank you!

The spa is very nice and luxurious. The staff was friendly and nice. The massage felt rushed though. It was 50 minutes but the therapist took about 8-10 mins to start on massage waiting for me to undress but you only have a robe on so it would only take 1-2 mins to get comfortable. The table is not very suitable for a big chested person I wasn’t that comfortable on it. She did try to help with towels but it wasn’t that helpful. The massage was amazing felt very relaxed afterwards. To be honest I wouldn’t try it again. I felt like I overpaid. I bought through Groupon so it was $109 plus $37 for gratuity. The spa is very luxurious but just ok for me. The champagne was delicious.

Therapist was rough with moving my body (lifting my head to massage my neck, moving my arms to massage my back) around on the table, rough with moving the massage table around and also with the stool, which kept slamming into the table. I was so shocked that I froze and didn’t say anything. The therapist never asked how I was doing or if the pressure was good or bad. It was the worst massage I’ve ever had, and I will not be booking here again.I told the staff about my negative experience and they didn’t do anything to make up for it. It was very disappointing and I will never go back again. I think I deserve a refund. I was forced to tip for an experience that was absolutely not relaxing and was terrible.

I’m not going to say it was the worst massage I ever had but a close 2nd. I called and booked two 90 minute custom massages for me and my wife at 315. When I got the email confirmation it had the wrong date on it. When I called them they already had given that to someone else. They apologized for mistake and offered 645 for 60 minutes. When we got there they said they could extend to 75 minutes. My therapist Mary ask what kind of massage I wanted I told her Swedish for relaxation. I told neck and shoulder needed most work. She rubbed on my shoulder and neck for 5 minutes then stated doing all these pressure points most on my toes, feet and hands for the rest of the massage. Then she said she was finished. Ugh! I asked her if that was 75 minutes she said no 60. She said front desk told her 60.. I asked her to double check then 20 minutes later she came back said I was right. No one told her to extend it. She asked me what wanted to do now. I told how about Swedish massage on my neck for 15 minutes. She did 5 minutes and said we are done. I told I guess she was in a hurry to go home. The young lady at front desk ask how massage was and I told her the whole story. Lol she didn’t say a word much less apologize and just gave me the bill. My advice to the Spa is to re-train the front desk. Also to teach Mary what a Swedish massage is. Let her know not everyone is into reflexology. A custom massage means the customer chooses what massage to get.

If the therapists weren’t great I would give it one star. My husband and I got a couples massage that we spent over $400 for. There was construction noise the entire time and there was no sheet for the face rest so they put super uncomfortable towels for you to lay your face down on during the massage. It wasn’t worth the money at all. When I asked about the construction noise they said it had been going on for months and the only discount they could give me was $30 off for staying at the hotel. it was really a waste and i wouldn’t recommend. I also told the front desk at the hotel about it and they told me there wasn’t anything they could do either.

If your going to Disney and want a Massage go to Grand Floridian. Staff is 1000% nicer and you don’t have to pay $34 for parking. They love to remind you constantly that they are Marriot and not Disney. Might want to check your location again.

Past visits have been GREAT but came in today July 2018 to see a different spa but found out their director is no longer with them.

Outstanding hotel. These hotels are in the perfect location at Walt Disney World. They are close to the boardwalk, epcot and Hollywood Studios. The magic kingdom is also available of you walk through epcot to the monorail. The facilities are great, the coffee maker in the room is really nice with Starbucks coffee and the long corridors make for some fun photos!

OMG! Don’t even think about this place. Take it from a local. So many better spas in Orlando. If you’re lucky enough to even speak to someone to make an appointment they will more thank likely mess up the time and you won’t get service (happened twice). And then they never answer their phone or return calls. Please don’t waste your time.
