Mame and Dee always get me and my family right. I have been going for over 10 years and refer them everytime. If you need your hair done and worth for your money see them. Also be prepared for them to be busy so plan in advance. They are very friendly,neat and work at a fast rate. The prices are reasonable and I haven’t had a style I didn’t like from them.

I visited Mame and Dee’s to get box braids. I got them but the only recommendation that I would provide at this time is that the 2 young ladies the tall one with individual cornrows and the one with the short fade…y’all need more practice.I got my box braids completed but it was nothing like the picture but overall it was neat and full but I had to pull the ponytail down because it was way too tight and pulling on my edges. Never lost hair after having my hair braided and not going to start now . Now, Mrs. Dee and the other ladies did there thang and I would recommend the older ladies and the young lady that does the cornrows. Will post follow up picture in a few days ❤️ Jocelyn Marie ❤️

Horrible experience. They cut a plug out of the top of my hair and on the side. I could tell it was cut not breakage by the way it looks. I will not ever go back. Be aware that if you have long natural hair or healthy natural hair these Afrinans are jealous of your hair. I am devastatsd. I have used them in the past but this time they seemed to be practicing some strange ritual while they were braiding my hair. When I left they kept saying things to me on my way out the door that made me feel uncomfortable. My braids were pretty but when I took then down one side was extremely short. I have a lot of hair do initially I didn’t notice the plugged missing out of the top. After I teisted my hair it didn’t fall right so I began looking at it from different angles and low and behold an entire chunk of my hair was missing from the top. No I didn’t lose any braids except one around the very edge nor did have breakage or a lot of shedding during taking I no down my hair. Which were the other I dictators that my hair was cut.

I will never go here again. I’ve been going to them since I was a little kid. They started off on northborough out there apartment. But now they have rude attitudes and ways. I went in for a touch up on my knotless and I’ve never got a touch up before. I asked about it before she started and was told one thing. I even called the day before and was told one price only to come in the next morning they were late getting there so me and another client was sitting outside and she came all the way from Huntsville. When she finished u could only put my hair in a bun and the price was a 100 more than what I was told on the phone the evening before. I then told her don’t worry about it. She then begin to cut the braids down but because she had a attitude about it she cut my hair along with the braids and the way I left was not the way I walked in

Very fast and efficient. Depending on what style you get they may have 2 or 3 people working on your hair at one time. They don’t make appointments, it’s all walk-ins. It took about 3.5 hours for them to do my locs.

I wanted stich 2 layer braids she asked me to send a picture and I did. I get there and wait for an hour and a half(after she said they had an opening right then). After the lady was already braiding my hair I showed her the pic again to make sure that’s how she was doing it and see told me she didn’t know how to stitch braid and she really didn’t pay attention to the pic I sent BEFORE I got there!!!! I could’ve let my niece do feed ins and kept my 150 PERIOD. My hair is nice but at the end of the day that’s not what I wanted and it’s MY money!!! Never going back!

My hair was perfect. Really pretty. Best box braids I’ve ever had. I like the owner. She has sweet disposition even though she doesn’t smile a lot. My only complaint is that I lost too much edge hair due to the braider pulling too tight. I would go back. Make sure to tell the beforehand not to pull hair around edges while braiding. Also don’t use heavy hair products while you have braids to avoid breakage.
