I want to set the record straight! Karel does my lashes on a regular basis, I get tons of compliments on them! I always look forward to my next appointment! She is very professional and kind! I’ve also enjoyed a few of the different facial she offers, all of which left my skin feeling and looking amazing! When arriving for one of my last visits a woman was leaving with her two young twin boys. She was raving about her service, smiling, give Karel a tip and thank her for allowing her to bring her boys along for her facial. Karel then notifies me of of several people leaving bad reviews on This Woman’s behalf. I too am a small business owner and can’t believe people would try to diminish a woman’s reputation all in trying to get a free facial…??? I highly recommend Karel in any of the services she provides!!!

Karel is amazing! She takes the time to get to know your skin. She is someone I enjoy going to on a regular basis. She takes notes to make sure your skin is always improving, and she has a game plan for every visit. I’ve had great results and have gotten excellent advice from her too. One thing that really sets her apart from other Esthetician’s is that she doesn’t nickel and dime you for every single little thing. She gets the job done to make your skin better, it’s her passion. I have been getting facials and other services from Karel for several months now. I love how she knows my skin and how amazing it always looks and feels afterwards! I have kind of sensitive skin, so in the past I’ve become accustomed to seeing my skin break out after “traumatic” events such as waxing or even dermabrasion. However, that does not happen at all after seeing Karel! She takes great care to give you a personalized, detail-oriented service with the most quality of products! Can’t wait til next time!

My friend had her first visit to Making Faces recently and immediately had to visit her PCP, an eye Dr. and several f/u appointments. She actually had to wear an eye patch!. Apparently chemicals accidently got into her eye. Now I am a fair person. I stress the word accidentally. However, all the copays and money to take care and treat her chemically burned retina should not be assumed by my friend but by the person who accidentally burned her eye, dont you think?!! Its common sense and good practice to be fair and just. Think about it.

24 hours after my cousin had her eyelash extensions put on by this women, she has a full-blown severe eye infection in which this woman denies causing. She continues to insist that it’s an allergic reaction even though there has been 2 Doctors (one of them being an opthamologist and the other a general practitioner) as well as two nurses (one a wound specialist and one which owns an eyelash extension company) have all consulted and agree that it is impossible for this to be an allergic reaction and the cause is due to unsanitary implements and an unsanitary procedure. When I personally asked what method of Sanitation was used she refused to give me an answer, I’ve asked what products she used and what country they come from and if she could support the proof of the said products with MSDS sheets and she refused to give me an answer, I then asked her how it was possible for her to get a certification in lash extensions in 2010 when she didn’t even become a licensed esthetician until 2011 again she still refused to give me an answer. As far as I’m concerned if you cannot answer simple questions then you are obviously hiding something. Do not ever go to this person to have eyelash extensions or any other service for that matter if you value your health
