Eyebrows broke out very bad directly after getting a wax here.Basically my entire forehead. I get my eyebrows waxed all the time at nail salons and my skin type isn’t sensitive. Waxing isn’t sanitary here. They’re double dipping wax sticks with every persons bacteria into the wax and not changing the wax. Very disappointed

I don’t normally get my nails done so I trusted the nail tech knew what she was doing. Wasn’t till I got home and my husband asked “why I paid for those. They look goofy”. Critical: Cleanliness, Quality, ValueWorst nail experience of my life.I have gashes in my fingers from where she cut into my skin, and she pushed my cuticles back with her FINGERNAIL to the point my BLOOD was on her nail. Then, when i complained about the pain she gave me a half used bottle of Neosporan with haie stuck to it. Unsanitary, unacceptable, and was $55. I had an awesome experience with Anne who did my nails! ❤ she was very nice and professional at her job, and thural in removing my 4 week old cal gel I had on my nails, she did an awesome job removing my gel by soaking my nails for a bit and using a drill bit with out hurting my natural nail, and for all the people who do gels and acrylic it can be painful but she was exceptional . She cleaned up my nails so well I never had a service like that in years. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU SEEING ANNE AT MAKIKI NAILS I will DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK JUST TO SEE HER ❤ by the way this my very first review, I don’t normally do these kind of things, but I was so blown away, and 100%SATISFIED I HAD TO WRITE ONE!❤ Thank you Anne for my amazing nail service ❤

The lady who was doing my nails, kept asking me if I wanted gel. Whenever I try out a new place for the first time, I don’t get gel because I want to see the work first. I felt like she got mad that I didn’t want gel, she rushed it. On top of that, she had no care in the world that she was filing my nails careless. It was just bad. Not going here ever again. Yes the price is great, but the service? No thanks.

I hate to give anyone such a bad review but unfortunately it was a really bad experience… I called to make an appointment for new gel nails. I tried to explain this on the phone but when I showed up she had booked me for mani and pedi. To remove the previous gel, she had me soak my fingers in a bowl of acetone for a few minutes, and then proceeded to rip it off, completely destroying my real nails. The tools were stored in a drawer in the desk with no form of sterilization. When she filed my nails she moved the file back and forth very roughly, and the result was uneven and further damaged. She only spoke to me to try to pressure me into paying for additional services, and the rest of the time she was yelling to her coworkers in Vietnamese.
