I am not going to lie, I have been to a few places surrounding this area to get my nails done, but not one has been as great as this place. Typically, when I get a gel manicure they always chip the next day. Not sure why that is, but it’s been like two weeks now and still no chip. Definitely going back here and spreading the word around on how great they are. The lady who did my nails was so kind and I was able to relax. I walked out of here feeling great about my nails. Absolutely love the turn out!

Ive been a regular customer at MAK Nail Bar for the past year and this is my go-to place. I always have an incredible experience here, as this nail salon is definitely the best in Berks County. They are appointment only and very efficient. I usually get gel manicures and regular/gel pedicures. The nail techs always do an exceptional job on both. I highly recommend!!

I was given a manicurist who was very mean and hard with my hands. She ended up cutting my cuticles to short to the point I was bleeding. Then when doing my hand my nail must have hit her hand, and went on my skin. She was so angry at me and grabbed my hand and pushed it up to show me my it was my fault. I did apologize but I know I didnt hit it, she proceeded angrily to try to get the gel nail (only one coat) with a file digging again into my cuticle. They did switch her out, but my anxiety was never so high, the whole time I felt they were talking about me I wanted to just leave. What I got compared to what I picked from their listing. It’s a pretty color and I can see some of the concept. Just not what I picked. I won’t ever go back.

Every time I come here I go home with amazing nails! I often come with my mom to get a manicure (which always turns out amazing) but I have had my eyebrows waxed here and it barely hurt and turn out amazing. I have also gotten dip nails and they looked great and I broke one and they quickly got me in for a repair! Over all I would definitely recommend going to Mac!

Just came here the other day for the first time. The staff was very kind and the atmosphere was nice. I got a gel manicure, and the manicure itself was fine. Unfortunately when the girl doing my nails was clipping the skin around them, she went so deep on the one finger and cut me. It was bleeding a little and it hurt pretty badly. It’s a few days later now and it is still swollen and red, and feels very sore. I was a little bummed that she didn’t even apologize. I know accidents happen, but I was surprised that she went that deep when it’s her job. I also wish she would have just said she was sorry. I’m sure this is not something that happens often, but unfortunately it was my experience and I don’t know if I’ll want to return after that.

Was getting my nails done for daughters wedding asked for tips only got five tips on my nails wanted tips because polish always comes off my real nails then I asked cam you cut the nails so they don’t show under the tips nope ignored me one nail has a pointy thing sticking up and they didn’t put clear coat on my toes has to do that when I got home paid 160 never again but what I’m most mad at is my daughters crocket nail on her hand needed for her wedding photo and the lady gagged while doing my daughters feet and hee feet had nothing wrong with them and she asked if she could have an E on her ring finger added they ignored her again
