Went on a Sunday afternoon for a walk-in, there was only one barber and was told it was appointments only, it said walk-ins welcome on the door but no big deal. Barber gave me his card and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Showed up 10 minutes early for the appointment and as I’m walking to the door I get an automated text saying my appointment was canceled. No reasoning or anything, walked in and he said he was behind but would get me in. I figured I’d wait since they didn’t look busy. 1 hour goes by and the barber is watching videos on his phone with his other client. Eventually ended up leaving without a haircut. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time but I definitely would not recommend this shop.

He deserves your business!Firstly, his attention to detail and his passion for his craft is incredible!!! He will take the time to make sure you get the exact haircut/shape up you want. In my humble opinion, even though you pay a very reasonable price, you receive the care and service of a barber that is easily 3-4x the price. Trust me, we’ve paid much more from a “quality” barber and My husband has not received anything remotely close to the work Fred provides.Secondly, he is one down to earth guy. All are welcomed here. If you want to chat him up, he can carry a pleasant conversation the entire time. If not, you will still get the same quality service.Thirdly, he is a proud owner of a new local business. I’ll be honest, I never paid over $30 for a haircut back when I lived in Detroit. But when I came to Major League today, the quality was ensured. I noticed that the barbers all used newer trimmers/clippers and products, which in my experience, there was no teeth scratching from the clippers or cuts left behind, which is a usual case from a barber not maintaining or replacing his or her clipper blades. I had a smooth, clean haircut experience, and I also enjoyed the atmosphere. It was quiet with no unprofessional conversations going on, and time well spent.

The search is over if you need a good barber, this is the spot. I’m hard to impress when it comes to a good barber. Straight razor shave is a dying art so I can be critical when a place claims to have razor shaves an they pull out a electric razor…. Not the case with this spot. AD my barber today cleaned up a mishap that another place I went to did. Can’t go wrong with anyone at this place, but AD took care of me.
