OH My Goodness…I love love love love my new found treasure in Majestik Hair Braiding Salon. As soon as I called Ms. Miriam she quickly fitted me in. I showed up and to my surprise I was not waiting around to get my hair done. My stylist Lori was very attentive to my hair care and to my needs. She made sure my wonderful style fitted my face. Lori is God sent as I have been looking for a reliable stylist in the area who is not concerned about making money but concerned with the client and the care of the hair. The shop is very well maintained and the prices are definitely reasonable and well worth every penny. I told my stylist she has a client for life! BIG BIG BIG thumbs up to this wonderful braiding salon and I will most certainly be back for my hair maintenance and styles and I will be referring all my family and friends to this amazing establishment.

Fantastic service. My hair appointment was started on time. The shop is impeccably clean and the service is great. I came here after a terrible experience with another salon and I’m so glad I did. The braiding is beautiful, neat, and not too tight. I’ll definitely be back. I didn’t catch my stylist’s name but she’s absolutely lovely.

I had a very positive experience with Majestik Braiding. The hair stylist was very nice, professional, and she did great work on my cornrows. My service was just plain cornrows, straight back, as I am planning on installing my own crochet hair extensions. I am very happy with how the stylist braided my hair; the cornrows are straight and flat, the perfect base for installing crochet hair. I plan on coming back to Majestik Braiding the next time I need my hair braided.

Mrs. Mariam and Charity are wonderful. They were fast and very professional. The shop is very clean and professional. I never had a owner who worked so hard to fit me in with my hectic schedule. While the owner was very friendly and accommodating, they do not have experience braiding “softer” hair (I am white), and when finished with one side and began the other, ended up having to redo it completely. Still, when finished the stylist admitted it was difficult because the hair was too slippery. I ended up with two braids that were uneven in location on my head as well as size and tension (one side was definitely tighter than the other). This being said I did not have the time to stayand they were closing, so they could not redo it yet they still charged full price for the service. I feel as though I should not have been charged full price for a completed product that was not asthetically pleasing. Photo is day after the service.

When my second daughter started coming here her hair was very damaged from heat damage and straightening for over a year. After getting her hair done here in protective styles for over a year, her hair went back to its length and thickness. I also have a different hair texture than my daughters and they are very informative about what healthy protective styles work best for my hair and for their hair. My daughters and I have been going to Mariam and her team at Majestik hair for about 10years. They are very professional and courteous. They make sure you are comfortable the entire time since getting your hair braided is very time consuming. When I spoke to Miriam, she was very professional. She updated me every time there was an issue with not being able to accommodate me on short notice. When I finally did my hair, the ladies did an amazing job. They were so courteous and gentle with me. I enjoyed their company the whole time. My braids came out just how I wanted. That’s the true essence of customer service, giving the customer what they want. I braid my hair often and I’ve been disappointed with other salons. I think I found my new spot and the price is affordable. I’ll be prepared next trip.
