I just wanted a hair cut. I don’t care about the politics but I did hear this was a very conservative place. I am a conservative but I just wanted a hair cut. Got there at Noon. They close for lunch for an hour. They must be doing very well to be able to actually close for lunch. But it didn’t stop there. He told me I also needed a dang appointment. I’m a man wanting a dang hair cut. Not some woman looking for a perm. We got into it outside his front door and he told me not to come back. Don’t worry. I won’t be back. You must be making plenty of money to be able to turn business away like that. Screw this place.

I want so bad to give these guys a 5-star review. It’s a perfect old-style barbershop with only two chairs and legacy decor, AND when I stopped in without an appointment, they were gracious enough to squeeze me in since I was leaving town. So what’s the downside? I felt like I was sitting in a political party headquarters with all the campaign memorabilia everywhere, and not in an “Ike Wins!” kind of way. Just felt like any other perspective wouldn’t be welcomed.

Old fashioned quality service is what they deliver. Feels like you stepped into some place you’d expect to see in the 40’s or 50’s. I couldn’t recommend this place any higher if I tried.
