Love the low key & quiet vibe. Most salons are unnecessarily loud, but Main Street is chill. Calm & unobtrusive lighting vs stark lighting at some salons. Erika is an excellent stylist – terrific at both color & cuts. Highly recommend her.

I had an appointment for 3pm. I got there at 2:40pm and stood at the front desk. I made eye contact with multiple stylists but no one came to greet me. I sat down and waited until 3pm. I went back to the front desk and after 5 minutes of just standing there someone finally came up to me to ask me if I have been helped. She saw I had an appointment and said she would let the stylist know. I sat back down for another 5 minutes and as the woman was leaving she said my stylist will be with me soon. At 3:15pm I left. 2 stars because maybe their service is good. I wouldn’t know.

I would like to thank Teresa Hughes for coming to my rescue last minute as I was in desperate need of a hair color correction. She was kind enough to pencil me in, and made me feel special by taking the time to not only do a thorough job, but go above and beyond all of my expectations. Teresa’s professionalism, talent and kindness are unmatched. In my opinion, she is the best hair stylist in Los Gatos (I would know since I’ve been to most of them) and most beautiful without the attitude lol. I love my long hair and am very picky with whoever touches it, however I finally found someone who appreciates and cares for my hair as much as I do. Thank you, Teresa! I had been trying with a different salon, to lighten my medium brown hair to a caramel color, but had been unsuccessful. Luckily, a co-worker of mine recommended for me to go see Jasmine and I’m so grateful that I did. She really took the time to see what was going on with my hair. I know that color corrections can be challenging, so I was so happy that Jasmine was able to perform some of her magic. I got the perfect caramel ombre that I wanted, without any of the damage.
