I went in for a much needed pedicure and I will note, my nails were pretty long. The kid starts cutting my toe nails (doesn’t ask how short and literally just doesn’t say anything) and I immediately asked him why he just cut my nails so short and didn’t ask for my desire length (WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY) I was extremely upset and I asked them to fix it. I had to wait about 10 minutes for another guy to build it with acrylic. Overall my toe nails ended up SHORT. He nearly cut my entire toenail off. It was also very expensive for quality. I do gel pedi / mani and I swear I could do a better job (for free). A few hours later the ENTIRE acrylic build just fell right off. I had to paint the entire nail, thankfully I had the equipment to do so. I was not about to drive 30 minutes to a salon for them to fix it. This place needs to train their staff. I’m new to the area and was hoping to make this a regular spot for me, NOPE. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Main St Nails does a decent job on your nails but the customer service is AWFUL! Last time I went, I had an appointment, showed up 10 minutes early, and the technician I made the appointment with took a walk in customer just as I was walking through the door thus making me wait an extra 30 minutes. This time I called for an appointment, was told to call back in 45 minutes, when I did I was told they could take me in “30 minutes or so” I arrived 33 minutes from my phone call and the shop was locked and pitch dark! The shop is almost 30 minutes from me and there was an accident on my way! I KNOW that my number came up on their phone because they’ve called me back before, so if they intended NOT to stay open as they said (mind you this was 430pm when the website and door say they’re open til 6pm) they could have called and saved me a wasted hour travel time! They are nothing special and have lost me as a customer. I WONT be going back!

I was treated so very rude. Have been here 3 times before not happy but in walking distance of where I live. I walked in to see if I could get a pedicure. True no appointment but not one person was in there. The very rude guy in the front said we have someone coming in in 15 minutes so we can not do you. Maybe you can call back tomorrow. That’s ok never going back there again. Word of mouth in town hurts a business..such a shame..guess they don’t want any business. Not one person was in there and none came in a half hour..I live up the street remember.

Went for mani and pedi. Everything done in a weird order. Should complete toes before doing hands so they can dry. She did my toes and massaged my legs for a weirdly long time using her fingernails…ouch! Then did my hands. Fingernails were badly shaped and I was not even asked what shape I wanted. Then she went back and put more polish on my toes. Polish was so thick on my toes….they never dried properly in time to not mess them up. Will not go back.

Critical: QualityI have come to Main St nails before, and loved their quality of work. However, the last time was absolutely awful. The pedicure was bare minimum and my feet left worse than they came in. Everything was so rushed because they seem to book too many people for the amount of staff that work there. I also got a dip manicure, which usually lasts me two-three weeks, this time it LASTED A DAY. The employees are incredible kind and nice, do not get me wrong, but the quality of work just does not match. Within a day, my nails chipped and look HORRIBLE. I have come to Main St nails before, and loved their quality of work. However, the last time was absolutely awful. The pedicure was bare minimum and my feet left worse than they came in. Everything was so rushed because they seem to book too many people for the amount of staff that work there. Critical: QualityWorst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. Didn’t get the calluses off the bottom of my feet, made my big toe bleed bc he cut it too short, and my other big toe was cut completely crooked. The pedicure lasted 20 minutes bc it was so rushed and poor quality. I will never come here again.

Let me just start by saying I hardly ever write reviews but people need to know how great this place is! I’ve been to many nail salons around this area over the years and Main St Nails is the best one yet. It’s extremely clean, very modern, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is very friendly! I always request Tommy and he does an AMAZING job. I will continue to go here and will be suggesting it to all my friends!
