Positive: QualityI had Tara as a masseuse. She was phenomenal!! I’m so relaxed after my 90 minutes massage it’s amazing. I have chronic back pain, I’ve had 5 spinal surgeries and constantly in pain. Tara discussed my situation before the massage & then got to work. I didn’t know that knots could be massaged out without intense pain! I had Tara as a masseuse. She was phenomenal!! I’m so relaxed after my 90 minutes massage it’s amazing. I have chronic back pain, I’ve had 5 spinal surgeries and constantly in pain. Tara discussed my situation before the massage & then got to work. I didn’t know that knots could be massaged out without intense pain! I can’t say enough about how wonderful Jennifer and her team at Maika’i Massage are! The environment is so calm and you are always greeted by a truly caring team member. The massages are WONDERFUL!!! When I am marathon training, Jennifer is great at working out trouble spots and giving advice for foam rolling/stretching to prevent injury. I just completed my 3rd marathon with a 30+ minute PR and I credit the Maika’i Massage team for helping keep me injury free! Trust this wonderful place to get your mind, body, and spirit in a better space ❤️

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI am absolutely disappointed. I planned a massage for 4 of my guests 2 WEEKS ago, and I got confirmations that I will be able to get 4 massages, 2 at 5pm and 2 at 6pm, I was okay with that and decided to accept the appointments. All 4 of us got ready and were so excited for our massages. Once we got there we were told that only two people have a massage today. They even called me the morning of to conform the appointment once again. This made no sense because I got multiple conformation calls for 4 people on the 4th of august. I would have been less upset if I booked on a short notice, BUT I booked this massage TWO WEEKS AGO. There shouldn’t be an excuse. I would not recommend going here.I am absolutely disappointed. Maika’i Massage is a great place to go whether you just want a relaxing massage or you are dealing with some pain. My therapist was Jennifer Bochenek. She is amazing, very knowledgeable, and definitely managed to relieve my pain. I highly recommend this place.

BEST MASSAGE EVER!! Tara works wonders. I’m 70 and I’ve been having problems with my balance. My Chiropractor wants me to do some exercises to loosen my hip flexors. Tara’s massage helped immensely to loosen them up.

The staff are Board certified massage therapists. They are very in tune with the client’s massage needs. They ask specific questions about your areas where you are currently feeling discomfort and will adjust their technique accordingly. Very professional therapists. I have now had two weekly massage sessions with Angelee at Maika’i Wellness Center. I have significant lumbar region vertebrae damage and suffered from leg and hip pain for many years. Undergone one surgery 2 years ago. Trying to NOT have another. In only two sessions Angelee’s specific treatment protocol for my condition has resulted in a near pain free two week period–I have not had enjoyed that in several years. I will continue these massage treatments as an alternative to surgery. I highly recommend Maika’i Wellness Center!
