I have visited Mai’s 3 times now…. Main thing my hair is growing!!! Next I’ll say that my braids always look great…. 1st trip I got singles…. They were really tight… like 3-4 days tight…. However this is what I expected and have always experienced when dealing with a great braider. They lasted me like 60 days and I could’ve went longer… my next style was knotless…. This style didn’t hurt at all and seemed to be quicker… lasted about 60 days as well… the last style was a lemonade ponytail….. tight but not to tight… I guess overall I’m satisfied with my experiences there.. I will say…. I wasn’t satisfied with the ends of my hair one time…. And I wasn’t pleased with the way they handled the situation…. Small problem…. I just get my ends straight and curl them at home ….. I would definitely recommend this shop…. Like I said before my braids look GOODT!! & my hair is growing!!!! One last thing…. I always get in and out…. If I go at 8am or 2pm ♀️… and of course it’s not income tax time when everyone is trying to get braided…. I mean what do you expect

I went yesterday an I did not like how my hair looked my size an knots was completely different I asked thinking my box braids was $180 no it’s $220 I had two people in my head not at the same time but they flip flopped I don’t know why but this is a never again for me! An yes I paid bc I didn’t feel like arguing only bc of my head throbbing definitely will be going to kya on Main Street definitely state needs be called why charge $$$ when you don’t do top hair or promote finest hair

I Went to MAI March 5,2022. The worst service I have ever experienced. I got 4 feed-in braids by a hair braided at her shop. She was very heavy headed, rough, and rude. My parts was not straight, it was so much tension on my scalp that it was welping up. My braids were uneven. She used so much products my braids were white by the morning. Before leaving after having mai see how my braids looked and having the lady fix a braid that was bigger than the other ones. I told Mai I would be back tomorrow for my hair to be redone because I didn’t have time Saturday. I called Mai Sunday morning And told her who I was and how I was disappointed with my hair. She said she was going to call me when she got done with another client and I never heard anything again. 10/10 don’t recommend GO TO ROXANNE!

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI have only had my braids for 2 weeks but she put them on smaller hair and they keep coming out in the back. When I got there I had made and appointment and sent there over an hour then I was about to leave they run after me and keep saying come back so I did.The lady who did my hair was pregnant and she had a kid there her kid keep pulling on my hair I was there over 7+hours I thought it would take 4 hours the lady keep stopping to eat talk on the phone talk to other people. She would pull on my hair for me to bring my head back she said I can’t have my head down or even a little down I had to keep it straight up because she was pregnant I understand that but no need to pull my hair out. It took to long they wasn’t what I expected them to be.
