I had a wonderful experience with this nail salon my first time going! The biggest issue I ALWAYS have at other salons is the nail shape/length never matching and then leaving unsatisfied with how they turned out. Liam completed my full set of acrylics in a timely manner and let me know BEFORE starting my nails what I would be looking at as far as pricing. I am impressed and will be returning! The photo on the left shows when my set was first done compared to the second photo after about 3 weeks. The pricing is a little higher here, but I’ve paid more at other salons and wasn’t happy with the end result, so their work is definitely worth the price here!

Good option for nails in Uptown. Usually I’m able to call same day and get an appointment. I like that they give you a little “warranty card” so if something happens within a given amount of time they will fix your nails. I’ve never had an issue but it’s a nice touch.

I am an intense nail biter and am always terrified to go in to a nail salon. This one was different! Lavie did my nails and was 100% non judgmental, kind, thoughtful and did the best job i have ever had done. She took her time and paid attention to detail and did not hesitate when i asked her for shorter, shorter nails. So grateful for Lavei and to have found Mahalo nails. i am never going anywhere else.

So I am brand new to the Minneapolis area and have been looking for a good nail salon believe I have finally found it. I’m rough on my nails because of my job but love having them done and Tracy was able to save 2 nails that had broken roughly and make them match. Great staff, super cool location. Highly recommend!

As someone that comes every 2 weeks for the past 8 months, I’ve been super disappointed lately. Shape and length are not even close to what I asked for the past 3 times. Grew my natural nails out for 6 weeks for them to be shaped specifically this way. Had to change my color choice as well because they weren’t understanding that I wanted natural looking dip. The first photo is the color, length and shape requested. Black is what I went home with.

My best advice is to get the price before you start. I saw Liam, he quoted me $280 AFTER he started my nails. With a price like that he should have told me WAY sooner. I had sent him pictures on instagram, booked an appointment, and sent a $50 deposit. It’s definitely a scam, if he would have quoted me that on instagram i would have NEVER made an appointment. That’s more than my car payment and completely ridiculous. I felt trapped because i already put a deposit, drove there, and his instagram said designs only. I ended up telling him no gems which saved me $90 (idk how, they must be blessed by the pope or something). Also he didn’t do $300 work, my pointer finger is longer than the rest, my thumb is crooked, and the polish isn’t smooth. I will never be back. This could be the last salon on earth and i wouldn’t go back. The first two pictures are what i wanted, the last two are what i got.

Great location, friendly staff and nice interior, but I am so disappointed in the quality. My boyfriend treated me to a dip Mani/pedí and I was back within two days to fix two nails that kept snagging on cloth and getting a toenail redone that was put on too thin and was missing color. Just under one week from my initial appt and my thumb is already chipped from opening a hairspray bottle. ‍ Too expensive for poor craft and I’m back in Atlanta now, so I can’t even go get it repaired again.

This was one of the worst experiences I had with any nail salons ever in my life. They don’t have their prices posted where it’s visible to walk-in customers. It was my first time there, and I went thinking it’s normal $55-$65 full set and $45 gel pedicures. I did a walk-in and even though, it’s their policy to mention the prices to customers before starting the service my technicians did not. Confused at how my full set and basic pedicure came to $157. I call the store and try to have the manager/owner fix this. He was rude and disrespectful. The technicians lied and insisted she mentioned the prices to me. When I told him she never did. The manager/owner tells me “well, it’s our policy to mention the prices and she’s been working here a long time. So, I know she did it. I don’t know what you’re talking about!” This was infuriating and frankly disgusting being treated like that. I called to have this issue fixed and workout some sort of fair negotiation, but this is ridiculous. They’re just blindly robbing people. There’s no prices listed inside their store or on their website. Do not fall for this scam! It’s $70 for basic manicure, $50 for basic pedicure, & $35 for nail art!! Gtfo!

I was helped by Liam, very nice and dedicated young man. I told him that I hadn’t had much luck with achieving the nail shape that I had been wanting. He exceeded my expectations. He did a very thorough and beautiful job! Acrylic nails

I paid $120 for a gel manicure and pedicure. They did not include any type of massage for either service. You think it would be included with how expensive this service was. I even had to apply my own lotion after my manicure and no lotion was applied to my feet. I got my nails done not even a week ago and my gels are already peeling off. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend you go here. I’d be happy to pay this price if I actually got a full service mani and pedi.
