Alicia Robertson is great! I have naturally curly hair and I have a hard time finding a stylist that gets the layering right. Alicia was dead on first time. Honestly, it is really important to me when I ask my barber to keep in mind exactly what I want my head/hair to look like, so when I go there next time I don’t have to go over the whole scenario over and over again with the anxiety of having my hair not look the way I want it to! I was not originally going to leave a review because at least the lady gave me some of my money back for cutting off way too much of my hair. But now, only a week and a half later, a lot of the color has washed out even though I use color safe hair products. I’ve never had this happen before. She also layered my hair without asking me. I don’t like layers because my hair is not thick. It does not look good. This was honestly traumatic. Anyone with extremely long hair is very particular because we put so much time, money, and effort into it. I had beautiful long hair almost to my hips. Now it’s short and ruined. On top of that, even with the UL student discount, this is the most expensive hair color/cut I’ve ever paid for. So I paid a lot of money for my hair to be destroyed. I am devastated. I’m still in tears every time I look in a mirror. If you pride yourself on your “Rapunzel” hair, do not go here.
