Offering all loc services previously at Toni’s Touch, now working from a personal home studio including new locs, loc maintenance repairs and deep cleansing. We also offer both Human hair and synthetic hair extensions, both premade and custom.

Mel is absolutely amazing! I first started seeing her about two years ago and never had maintenance done. She was able to revive my dreads and make them look like they were professionally started. She is so reasonable, and understanding and really goes above and beyond to make your service exactly what you want and need. She has even traveled to me! She always has such amazing hair decor for sale as well. I literally can not say enough good things about this woman. If you are looking for lock service run don’t walk! She books fast and after having a session with her it’s clear to see why!

Not exactly sure how to word this review to give an account of the experience my wife and I had… But I’ll do my best. My wife had wanted to go back to dreads after 15+ years of “regular” hair. She did some digging online and found Mel. We traveled 4+ hours to make it to her appointment. Within 5 minutes I felt like we had known her for years. Mel was incredibly welcoming and personable. Then over the next 7-8 hours, I was fortunate enough to witness her work. Could not recommend more. My wife and I showed up hopeful for a good experience, and we left as friends with her and being absolutely in awe of the job she did with my wife’s hair. 5 stars are not enough! Can’t wait for my hair to grow a little more and return.

Mel is one of the best in the business! Not only is her work absolutely amazing, she is such a kind-hearted human. I had my original dreads done by her with extensions, and I was more than pleased with the outcome. I’ve also had all my maintenance done by her, and sitting in her chair is like sitting with an old friend, even from the first appt I had with her when I first met her. She is kind, talented, and cares about every single one of her clients. She is always authentically herself and always consistent and reliable. Recommend 10/10 for all your dreadlock needs!

Went to see Mel for dred maintenance, and she is really good. Her shop has all you would need for your dreddies from extensions to cuffs and all sorts of baubles to decorate your hair with. She even mixes her own hair potions. She does seem to derive satisfaction from separating dreds that have grown together (VELCRO!) But all in all it was a positive experience. 10/10 would highly recommend.
