Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityIt was my first time and I really wanted a manicure(regular polish), but I rated it 1 star. Reasons: 1.) She cut my cuticle pretty deep and I was bleeding. She didn’t even clean it or apologize for it. Now that I’m outside in the sun i noticed she missed some areas that she could’ve cleaned better. 2.) She didn’t fill in all my nails you can see white on the edges. 3.) She didn’t paint them correctly and it shows now that it’s “dry” and you can tell it was the top coat. 4.) She said I was good to go, and in the end they weren’t fully dry and so when I put my 2 yr old in his car seat, it messed it up. 5.) You get a 10% discount for first time clients and they also offer a 5% for cash. So the receptionist said they can’t offer me the first time deal or else it would be free. Clearly she doesn’t know math and then she added onto saying that I would need a +$20 service to get the deal (regular nail polish is $18), which isn’t indicated anywhere on their signs. My manicurist was nice, but at the end of the day I think the quality of service I received was poor. Plus she rushed the whole thing and was watching a show on her phone with her iPhone ear buds so not cool. I usually get $15 manicures at Nail plaza in Diamond Bar and this experience made me realize to not get my nails done at the mall. I still tipped $2 out of courtesy.
