My husband and I decided to get mani-pedi’s together while visiting St. Charles, so I started searching on Google Maps for ratings and reviews and Magic Nails had mostly good ratings so we made an appointment for Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t too busy, we were seated immediately and taken very good care of! I would highly recommend going here, very clean and professional. Great place! Katie did an extra special job, taking care of my own very neglected nail beds. My new acrylic set looks wonderful. The 2 other people working there were also polite and friendly. Highly recommend. Prices were in a normal range as well.

Jimmy and Jen are the best manicurists in St Charles. I have been almost everywhere and while some salons are certainly good I feel like you get a work of art at Magic Nails. They know all the current trends and can give you any look. I’ve always been very happy and get many compliments on my nails.

I assume, maybe this is a place for regulars, as my daughter and I were treated as a complete nuisance our entire visit. I called and asked how much mani-pedis were and made an appointment for 2 of us. After over a half hour wait for our appointment times we received what can only be described as “half-assed” pedicures. I can clip and paint my own nails, thats not what I’m paying for. They then sat us at the drying station and left us there for another 25 minutes while helping the next appointment to only then come up to us and demand payment. I stated that I had made appointments for toes and nails and the lady LAUGHS and slightly shouts back at me “OH REALLY!?” She then walks away yelling at another worker; clearly inconvenienced. We sat and watched for another 10 minutes before someone asked what color AGAIN we wanted and I said just forget it. I took a chance at a new place visiting St Charles; what a mistake. Maybe like a dive bar they have their regulars that keep them alive but I cannot see any new customers giving these people repeat business.
