I don’t usually get manicures or pedicures, so I really needed advice on what to do about my nails. I had a disappointing experience in Hibbing, MN when I was there for a family function. My nails had grown out and started peeling off the gel polish, which damaged my actual nails. I also had one nail crack just below the fingertip. I tried Magic Nails and was fortunate to get in. I relayed my experience to Mai and told her I needed her professional opinion what to do. She worked Magic for me. I didn’t want to completely lose the length of my nails but found a length that was okay to deal with the break of my pinky. She was wonderful and I felt very comfortable that she was giving honest professional advice to help my nails to heal. I believe in giving positive honest reviews when they are deserved. I will most definitely be coming back to Magic Nails as I get my nails healthy again. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience!

Mai is the best! She has killed my acrylics every time! She’s quick, gentle, and detail oriented. She makes sure the acrylic/gel isn’t too thick and has always made sure I don’t have any annoying acrylic chunks under my nails! (She’s also never made me bleed which is a first!!!) Thank you, Mai! <3

Positive: Cleanliness, Punctuality, QualityThis place is absolutely amazing. They do amazing designs and are super friendly. I got some acrylics done for the first time in a while and they made the experience so much better than the last time, they made me feel very comfortable while I was there and you can feel a sense of community within the staff. Any time I wanted for her to redo a nail because the design wasn’t what I was wanting she would erase the design and start over without complaint. Here is the thing though for if you are looking at the 1 star reviews for this place. If you are rude to them they will not be rude to you but will not treat you to the standards that they treat all of their nice customers, they get you in and out of the chair and that’s it. Remember that they are people and they have bad days as well. 4.5 stars – The employees are very kind and accommodating. My technician worked very fast and I was worried she was rushing, but she asked for my approval/opinion at every step, so I think she was just a fast worker. My nails turned out mediocre, not bad but I’m not overly impressed. All in all, it was a great experience, I just wish my nails turned out a little better.

I absolutely LOVE coming here! I have been getting my nails done here for about 2 years and can honestly say that I have NEVER been disappointed. I recently moved to Maple Grove and tried a nail salon closer to home, Huge Mistake. Definitely worth the drive. The salon is always clean and the ladies are always friendly and professional. No hidden prices like the “fancy salons”. My nails rarely break and look great for weeks. Always happy when I leave!
Silly Rabbit
The service was a bit slow but both nail techs that were there were busy and they did a wonderful job! I got a gel set done with cat eye polish and my nails look amazing! One of my nails had broken the day prior to my appointment and she elongated the single nail (with acrylic) for free. I didn’t bleed once!!! Over all I am very happy and will return!
