I called to make an appointment to redeem a Groupon for a 1hr deep tissue massage for $44/person. Lady on phone seemed nice and asked that we pay them directly, and that because taxes would be added, she’d need to raise the price to $45/person. I didn’t buy the groupons yet so I told her that wasn’t a problem. We both enjoyed our massages, but it wasn’t a full hour long, and on top of that, the cashier demanded more of a tip, then complained to the masseuse IN FRONT OF US that we weren’t tipping more.Very rude– won’t be going back. Shame, cus it was a decent massage. If they expect a certain amount in tips, they should make that clear ahead of time, or raise the price. Don’t guilt customers into paying more.

If I could give this massage parlor ZERO stars I would. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Called them prior to redeem a Groupon and upon arrival was given a I’ll mannered discourteous demeaning unprofessional greeting and was shunned away. After being told over-the phone it was ok to come in for a massage. Take your money else where for better service. No one deserves to get treated that way.

My friend gave me a birthday gift card and I took it with me. They didn’t accept it and asked for me to pay, even though it was paid for. Plus the place is very unhygienic, shady and the manager was very unprofessional. If you ask me don’t go there!! Period!!! Save your money…

Excellent experience. Great massage. On time and waiting for me for my appt. Extremely affordable. This is a small no frills shop so if you are looking for all the bells and whistles (wine, sauna, locker rooms etc etc) and not just a wonderful massage then this place may not be for you. For me, this is exactly what I hoped it would be and reminds me of some of my favorite massage parlors in NYC. Well trained and kind massage therapists at a price that is affordable so I can go as often as I would like to treat myself. Looking forward to returning soon.

Critical: ProfessionalismI paid by credit card and asked if I could add in a tip. When I gave an amount that was a bit above 20%, I was told it wasn’t enough. I raised it by $5 and then when I went to sign the slip, there were 2 slips. They charged me another $5 on top of the original $15 tip. All this adds up to an almost 50% tip! Then when I went out back to get in my car, the guy from Frescoes starts yelling at me because I parked in one of his spaces. I tried to explain that I had checked with the masseuse if that was an ok spot to park in. I thought Frescoes must be out of business. Anyway, he left me a nasty note and said he had already called the police to tow my car.
