I have gotten my hair braided here at least 3 times. They were never very respectful for people who wants your hard earned money. I was told today to be there for 7:30 then they changed it and said 8:30. Well I got there and waiting almost a hour and no one ever showed up to do my hair. I’m so disappointed. If I’m paying you $200 or more you should be at your shop waiting to greet me not me waiting on you. I will not be back ever again.

Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve been going to Maggie get my hair braided for the past 2 years. I’ve always been pleased with my hair and didn’t have any complaints about the quality of work. However the problem that I’ve ran into the past time is the lack of professionalism. I scheduled a hair appt to get my hair braided. Maggie gave me a time to be there. I left work early to get my hair done. Once I got there she asked could I come back on tomorrow…No ma’am, my appointment is for today therefore I’m expecting services on today. Then she tries to convince me to get 6 braids which is not what I wanted. She let me sit there for about a hour before I finally got up and left. I’m very disheartened because Ive always loved my braids yet it’s to the point in which the lack of professionalism overpowers the quality of work. I’ve been going to Maggie get my hair braided for the past 2 years. I’ve always been pleased with my hair and didn’t have any complaints about the quality of work. However the problem that I’ve ran into the past time is the lack of professionalism. I scheduled a hair appt to get my hair braided. Maggie gave me a time to be there. I am so happy that at last I have found African sisters who can really do my hair like back home. For the longest in Shreveport I’ve never been satisfied and happier like I was yesterday at Maggie’s, the price was fair, my hair was done neat… and oh my hair is on point the style is perfect. her new girls were so sweet and friendly they made me feel at home. The girl did my hair so fast I was there at 5pm and by 8pm my hair was done ✅ . The search is over Maggie’s hair salon for life❤️❤️❤️

I am in town for a few weeks for work and decided that I want some braids. I googled and decided on Maggie’s and I’m glad I did. I had told them on the phone what style I wanted and was quoted a price but when I got there the price was different for the new style that I decided on which was understandable because I couldn’t make up my mind. They were very accommodating in giving me what I wanted and Karen did such an awesome job braiding my hair that I will probably make that 4/12 hour drive from Arkansas just to have her do my hair. I felt bad that I didnt have tip money for her after the increase in price so I came back on Monday to give her a tip to show her my appreciation. I showed a picture of my hair to my daughter who lives in Dallas and now she has an appointment to get her hair done by Karen.

It took Maggie 12hrs to do my hair! I was there from 12p-12a! She had all those darn kids in there and kept stopping and doing everything but do my hair! I never returned because whatever she used to twist my hair, had my natural hair hard as a rock! I wanted to just cut my hair off! It was horrible!! The only thing that was reasonable, she charged me $180! That was about 3 years ago!! I’m not sure how she is now, but that was a horrific experience for me!!

I got box braids from this place tht i was very satisfied with, paid them to take down months later, and get 2 braids, i noticed where my hair was cut. I asked for two feed in braids and got 7 braids, which started coming down the next day. I called and didnt get an im sorry, or we will fix it, or come get some money back… I wouldnt recommend them! This was at Maggie’s. Another thing she does is tell you 1 price over the phone and tell you a different price whn you walk in. I have also notoce that they over book, I was told to come in at 2 whn they were jst starting on someone at 3, I’m not gonna wait 8 hours to get my hair done. So I was told to come bk the next 2 days! NO good
