Critical: QualityI went in on 10/07 for box braids. I showed them a picture of the desired style. 3 women assured me that they could do the style. As they were braiding I noticed the style wasn’t turning out like the picture. I reminded one of the braiders that I wanted square parts, she then told me “it’s fine.” When the style was finished, it in fact, was not fine. They completely disregarded what I wanted. I went in on 10/07 for box braids. I showed them a picture of the desired style. 3 women assured me that they could do the style. As they were braiding I noticed the style wasn’t turning out like the picture. I reminded one of the braiders that I wanted square parts, she then told me “it’s fine.” When the style was finished, it in fact, was not fine. They completely disregarded what I wanted. I had 3 ladies braiding my hair it was really nice silvy, Ava and Eva were very professional they will definitely be my stylist for now on. Critical: ProfessionalismI scheduled a touch up appointment on a Friday for my braids. Then, called just to ensure were still on scheduled, owner proceeds to say can you come tomorrow around 1 or 2. I said no problem, something else ended up coming up. (thank God i called) Next, day i head to my appointment for 1 p.m. I arrived to the appointment 15 minutes early and her shop was locked. I called her and asked will she be one time for my appointment. She proceeds to say something happened within her family can you come at 4:00. I understand situations happen in our lives and sometimes unexpectedly. All Maeva had to do was pick up the phone and let me know and i would have respected that. She showed no sympathy while we were on the phone. I scheduled a touch up appointment on a Friday for my braids. Then, called just to ensure were still on scheduled, owner proceeds to say can you come tomorrow around 1 or 2. I said no problem, something else ended up coming up. (thank God i called) Next, day i head to my appointment for 1 p.m. I arrived to the appointment 15 minutes early and her shop was locked. I LOVE my braids and appreciate her seeing me through a ” hair emergency “. She was professional and fast it took her all of 45 minutes. This will be my forever hair home.

The ladies were available and very polite and ready to work! My hair is not to tight and it looks AMAZING, I will definitely be going back and I recommend to anybody that’s needs a good ole braid up!!

The worker calls Maeva who then says she is closed due to Dallas County lock down. Now as we all know that was spread on media last night and also aired on the news. She never let her workers nor her potential clients know that she was not coming in to open. Then Maeva proceeds to tell the worker that she already sent a text out about not opening. I look at my phone just to make sure I did not miss the text and she sent nothing. Well after I left is when she text about her not opening the shop.
