After reading the reviews I decided to book with Madison Reed. Excited as I was it didn’t last long walking into the doors getting told my hair was to dark to begin. Please save your time and money. if you want highlights, balayage or any light color and you have naturally dark hair don’t come and waste your time. I wanted to give a public shout out for this new business and business model. I have had the experience of loving a haircut, while not being particularly happy with the coloring or vice-versa. This hair color bar gives an opportunity for just hair color and blowout in a convenient, pleasant location. This is a stylish, well lit, clean, fun shop. The staff greeted me cheerfully and sincerely both times I went there. They did their best to help me figure out what to do with my hair. The first time, they suggested a balayage, which, unfortunately, wasn’t what I needed. To their credit, I didn’t really know either. But when I returned to have it adjusted, they were just as friendly and pleasant as before, and I’m really happy with the result. Give this a try. I’m a person who doesn’t do well with a 3-hour hair appointment for cut and color and I’m happy to have the opportunity to separate out cut from color and/or blowout, at a fun location.
