Best Madison Reed experience yet! I arrived early for my appt so they took me in as soon as they could and did a phenomenal job. They were professional, friendly, and the colorist did a lovely and thorough job- bonus that all the staff there was such a pleasure to chat with!

I have scheduled twice via tje app amd when I arrived, my appointment had been canceled due to staffing issues. I was not notified. The staff person was very nice, she gave me a complimentary coloe kit, told me the manager would reach out, be they never did. Fighting Boston traffic for nothing is very frustrating.

The ladies that work there are fantastic. Im not convinced the product is the best. It did cover my gray hair but seems to fade very quickly on me.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI had a fantastic experience getting my hair colored (for the first time in my life!) at Madison Reed’s newest location in Somerville, MA. As someone new to the hair dye process, I felt reassured, supported, and comfortable with the colorists at Madison Reed, who helped me pick out a hair color that I absolutely love. I had the opportunity to chat with the owner, who gave me a fabulous blowout after my hair was colored, and I am excited to see such a phenomenal woman-led business taking root on Assembly Row. As someone with textured hair, I was definitely apprehensive since the beauty industry is not always known to cater to those coming from diverse backgrounds. However, I was incredibly impressed by how inclusive Madison Reed aims to be, from the photographs on their walls, to their staff. Diversity and inclusion is clearly a priority for this salon, which is really important if your hair falls outside of Angelo-Saxon norms. I plan to return later this year, and I predict that I’ll be a repeat customer for years to come.Services: Hair coloring, HairstylingI had a fantastic experience getting my hair colored (for the first time in my life!) at Madison Reed’s newest location in Somerville, MA.
