I had a really great experience here. I haven’t colored my hair in over 6 years and I have solid gray streaks in the front that I wanted to keep while coloring the rest. I asked for as close to my natural color as possible and a blow out. They were very prompt with getting me set up. The ladies here were incredibly nice and warm. I felt very relaxed and taken care of during my time. I even made a quick jaunt down the center to Starbucks while my color set!

I got highlights here and while my stylist was very nice, she was overbooked and I sat with toner in my hair for around 30 minutes. Because the toner was in my hair so long, what she did was give me silver highlights that look gray!!!!! She also just did the highlights randomly so they don’t match up with my existing highlights. I was there for over 4 hours and when the manager/master stylist tried to fix it, she made it have a green tinge and made me wait 30 minutes. I just spent my Sunday and $125 and look and feel awful.

The colorists are very good but you get the sense that because of the business model, they probably don’t get paid as well as their peers in other salons. This can impact quality, and on one occasion I felt that the guy doing my hair was rushed and the final product was not terrific and had to be fixed later.

Critical: CleanlinessI have been there a few times now. Don’t have a choice because I get allergies from other dyes. With that said I have a few issues with this location.The staff is courteous and quick to apply color. My issues are the cleanliness and the wash. I don’t think they sweep the floors till the end of the day cause it’s got hair all over the place (yes I know it’s a hair salon). It’s just disgusting.My second issue is that they don’t do a good job washing the hair. 3 times the dye has been left in my hair especially the nape area and around my ears. Couple of times I asked them to rewash my hair cause when I ran my fingers through the hair to blow dry, my fingers had dye all over them. Could someone please please teach the staff how to wash the dye out of the clients hair?! It is the most frustrating part for me!!I also end up leaving with color still on my ears, my face and neck. One time I left there and when I looked in the mirror I had dye on my cheeks and chin! How does a stylist not see that on their client and let them leave like that?? This was after I had a blow dry done too.. she didn’t notice that I had dye all over my face while blow drying my hair? All of this sadly leaves you wanting for a better salon experience. I have been there a few times now. Don’t have a choice because I get allergies from other dyes. With that said I have a few issues with this location.The staff is courteous and quick to apply color. In a nutshell I had ordered an MR color a few years prior. When I went into the color bar (maybe a month ago) my hair was a few shades darker now. I was scheduled for a balayage with root touch up. The colorist never matched my color, instead went off of the color I previously ordered several years before. After he finished my blow out he mentioned my roots were lighter and I could come back in a few weeks for another root touch up. Sorry, but I ended up going elsewhere to get it fixed. Got my roots colored and after the blow dry, had to scrub out dripped color stains from my forehead, ears, cheeks and neck for almost 10 minutes. Since they stayed on for 45 minutes, will have to wait a day or two to be presentable! The point of going to a service bar versus doing at home is lost if they can’t take care of this. The stylist showed me 2 colors to choose from that can be done on my type hair, he said there might be slight variation in color since my hair is on the darker side of the spectrum. After the process completed, i could not see the color at all and i was dissatisfied with how it looked. But later he said this is how its going to be since its a gentle treatment. I wanted him to fix it, so he booked me a complimentary appointment to lift up the color. The next time i went in for my appointment, i was a litle late, he said he cannot do anything and refused to reschedule. He gave me another excuse that he evaluated and the color cannot be lifted anymore. This is so unprofessional, first they didnt do it correctly, then they try to give excuses and eventually dont gix anything at al. What a true waste of money and time.
