The stylist is a wonderful person, she tried to fix the color as close as possible to what I desired. She did a lot to fix the wrong, but nothing really will fix the cinnamon undertone which I truly dislike. I will be hiding my hair for the most part until I need my hair colored but I can’t trust Madison Reed with coloring my hair. Therefore I will never return to the color bar…ever. Thank you for trying but I had hoped to walk out with a look I appreciate wearing. I can’t make a recommendation to others. I will say the staff is great group of ladies.

I arrived on time for my 4:15pm appointment but I am still waiting and it’s been almost an hour! I’ve never had to complain about any hair salon as I’m a very laid back client but this is not acceptable. I drove from far to come to Madison Reed but seems like there’s always some issue with their scheduling. My appointments are never done on time. I have many other commitments and I do not expect to wait almost an hour before getting even checked-in. Apparently my stylist left to do an errand and now I’m just stuck here waiting for Crystal to arrive. I have been a Madison Reed member since 2020 in another state and have had amazing services many times but at this point I feel I need to cancel my membership bc this Atl location is not working out.

I’m going on vacation tomorrow (Thurs) so I ordered my hair color, and instead of shipping I was going to pick it up at the Norcross location. My order was placed on Tues and the computer said I would be receiving an email when it was ready. I waited until 10am Wed and called to see if I could pick it up. A customer service rep told me I had to wait 24 hours and I should be getting an email. I ordered at 11am the previous day. Well, I waited all day for that email, I mean how difficult is it for someone to stick a box of hair color in a bag?? I called to cancel my order and that lady said I didn’t have to wait for an email. So which is it? She couldn’t refund my money either. She said I have to wait for 5 days, the time they give someone to pick up an order. I’ll never order from Madison Reed again. their customer no-service is horrible.

After getting a confirmation message at 1:30 today, I showed up for my 2:30 appointment ten minutes early. Lights off, doors locked, no one answered the phone. I cannot get in contact to set up a new appointment even though an appointment in the time frame I need likely will not be possible due to my schedule and I worry about getting a late cancellation fee for an appointment I was not able to attend due to the fact that they were not there.

I like MadisonReed products & was happy to find their color bar close to me. I went in for my first color yesterday. The colorist, Kim, was 30 mins. late getting to me & didn’t apologize. Once she was done applying the color, I had 30 mins. to sit & let the color do its thing. I started reading & lost track of time. My scalp started to burn a little so I looked at the time… I had been sitting there for almost an hour. Kim never once checked on me. She had set a timer but must have forgotten about it. I had to ask another colorist to ask Kim how much longer I was going to have sit there. She checked the time & had me come back to the wash bowl & got me taken care of herself. Kim never said a word to me. Not a good experience at all.
