I recently visited the color bar after subscribing to Madison Reed home delivery for awhile. I was having trouble finding the right color for me, so I decided to visit and signed up for a Monthly Roots subscription where they take care of my roots at the color bar. I’m not sure what the previous negative reviews are about, but the Manager Jillian was extremely kind and took the time to explain how my hair would respond to different coloring options. She has almost 20 years of hair color experience and was very patient in explaining the hair coloring process to other customers that came in. She also gave them honest advice if she thought that Madison Reed products wouldn’t achieve the look that the customer was requesting. She was very knowledgeable and looked out for the overall health of the costumers’ hair. I’m excited to have this place close to home and looking forward to my next appt!

Worst customer service of any place I’ve been -2 times! First visit- color consult- manager talk to me like an idiot and kept trying to dismiss my questions without answering them (I’ve been coloring my hair for 30 years). She recommended a gloss that did not match my color and I didn’t notice until I got home. Second visit to buy my color, exchange the gloss and get shampoo and conditioner. She would not exchange the gloss for the right color saying I was one day past the return date. So, they lost a $70-$90 sale because she would not exchange a gloss that she wrongly recommended. I will not go back to that store!

Stopped in just to check the store out and ended up purchasing an at-home highlight kit. Jillian was so kind, helpful, and patient. She immediately greeted me, set a proper 3 minute expectation, and then thoroughly talked to me about what I was looking for and made a perfect recommendation. The store got busy when I was checking out (4 people walked in at the same time), and she politely let the other customers know she would be right with them and continued to help me without any sign of stress. I scheduled on line for color and blow dry and they canceled me 3 hours before my appointment. When I tried to call them back I was on hold over 5 mins. I called back few more times same thing. My guess is poor management and mot worth it
