I’ve tried many different orthopedic massages and to me what separates Sunrise from all the other providers is his willingness to customize his treatment to ensure that an individuals unique needs are met! I’ve been dealing with a neck/shoulder joint issue for years and it is FINALLY managed/relieved thanks to Sunrise. He is not one of those that immediately ends his appointment once the clock strikes either. If he feels unsatisfied after time has expired, he will let you know and continue to work in order to make sure you leave with a positive experience and proper results!

I can hardly describe in words the positive impact I have experienced after receiving only two (so far) massages from Sunrise. I have dealt with chronic migraines and neck pain for many years. When I went for my first massage I was in a 7 week bout of migraine headaches. After the massage I went two full weeks migraine free! Sunrise is the consummate professional, kind and compassionate, extremely skilled with highly effective techniques. He also validated (and gave me additional understanding) about how my emotional stress (worrying about my ailing mom) was compounding my physical health problems. This helped me very much!! I HIGHLY recommend Sunrise to all. I have had several sessions with Sunrise, and I will never go back to the big name massage places, which they were good..but not what I needed. Sunrise always makes it a point to pay attention to how your walking, asks questions to understand what you’re needing from him. He will then tailor what you need. The first time I saw him I could feel the tension leave my neck and shoulders. To not be in pain was amazing. This last time I saw him, after my session he promised I would finally get a good night’s sleep, and he was right.

After surgery for breast cancer, I was suffering from debilitating shoulder and back pain and could not find relief. Finally, I found Sunrise at Madison Orthopedic Massage. He genuinely listened and addressed my care with a unique approach that provided long term relief. Sunrise is well-studied and very knowledgeable about HOW the body and muscles work, and what CAUSES pain. I have been going to Sunrise for several years now. Initially I started going to him for hot stone massages, and discovered how wonderful they could be. It is a great relaxing and health benefit massage all in one. Then I hurt my shoulders with two back to back falls within a few weeks of each other. I was not able to do everyday functions such as dressing without being in excruciating pain! So Sunrise started working specifically with my shoulders, he gave me exercises to do at home and he even did some extra training to help him in working with me and my shoulders. Within a year I have almost 100% mobility back pain free! I am so thankful and grateful to Sunrise for his dedicated time and service to helping me heal from something that I’m sure would have eventually ended up in surgery if I hadn’t been going to him regularly. Now he is working on helping me with a circulation issue that I have in my legs, and I’m sure within time I will have the same success that I had with my shoulders. Sunrise is very professional and I never feel uncomfortable with him or any of his treatments, yet he’s also very personal, taking the time with his clients to listen to them and what they are needing. It isn’t a one size fits all kind of place. He asks questions each time to see where I am physically and mentally as well, and then he structures the massage around what’s happening to me and my body at the time. I tell all my friends about Sunrise because I want them to have the same wonderful experience that I’ve had with him. The friends that have gone to him come back thanking me profusely and most have become regulars like myself. If you want to get the best massage in town, be it a relaxing massage, therapeutic massage, stone, or whatever you need; Sunrise is it!
