This year I decided to find a new barber. Bridget at Madison Ave was recommended. I decided to give her a shot. She killed it. Even my wife likes what she can do with the little amount of hair I have. I didn’t need a stylist (although she is), I wanted a barber . She handles the scissors extremely well. Quite the pro. I was looking for a place that was closer to home but, having experienced a few mediocre cuts in the past, I was a bit gun shy. A friend recommended Shelbie and I could not be happier. She corrected my hair to a more natural tone and gives me a great cut every time. She is also a good converstionalist and is genuinely interested in her clients. The rest of the staff are always courteous and professional.The salon is always clean and during these difficult COVID times they go the extra mile to make sure their clients are secure knowing that their health and safety are the utmost. There are barriers between the chairs, everything is wiped down between times and all clients are expected to wear masks.I am happy to recommend Madison Avenue/Madison Ave East.I have been traveling too far for too long to get my hair cut. I have been traveling too far for too long to get my hair cut. I was looking for a place that was closer to home but, having experienced a few mediocre cuts in the past, I was a bit gun shy. A friend recommended Shelbie and I could not be happier. She corrected my hair to a more natural tone and gives me a great cut every time.
