M Squared Modern Hair is top notch. My wife and our neighbors have been going here for years, and now my daughter started going. When my son and I couldn’t get into our normal place, we booked M Squared. They got us in in a timely manner, and our haircuts were awesome. On top of that, the employees are all very friendly, and in great moods. The salon interior is bright and modern, and our haircuts were very reasonably priced. The owner is kind, and remembers you after one visit. Definitely recommend trying them out!

Honestly I’m really sad to leave a review like this because I had such high hopes when I went into the salon. It was my first time there. It was very clean and bright. I sat down and got my high lights done, which was fine. Got my hair washed, and toned that was fine too. When it came to the cut she forgot to cut a face frame that I asked for. The stylist’s next client was already there so she told me she couldn’t style my hair. I was bummed because this was a treat for myself for my birthday. When I went to pay it initially was one amount, but the employee was having troubles with me paying with a gift card. Another employee came over to help, and then all of a sudden my new total was $20ish dollars higher. I didn’t say anything I paid and left. I feel like I shouldn’t have been pushed out of the chair and not get a full quality service that I paid for because the stylists next client was there. She stated that they only book 2 hours for a highlight. So obviously with me having thicker hair and thinner sliced foils it took a little longer. So in turn I feel like I paid for a service and didn’t get everything I paid for.

Tried this salon for the first time because the Paul Mitchell salon in Coloma just got ridiculous as far as expenses and double booking. My experience was AMAZING!! Highly recommend this salon because they take the time to listen and they don’t burn your hair like some salons due to overbooking. The owner took the time to answer all my questions and my hair felt and looked better than ever. This salon is very professional which was a refreshing change. Very soothing experience. Highly recommend a change and try it! I had Jasmine and she is wonderful.

My entire family goes to M Squared. All of the stylists are great. We moved from a big city and it took me a year to find M Squared. The atmosphere is upscale, the prices super reasonable, and they are honest about what will work on your hair. You can’t go wrong. Kate is amazing.
