I was so impressed with the two ladies I met with this afternoon. They were polite, friendly, and funny. No doubt, the way I was treated by M-Power’s staff today (a complete male stranger) is consistent with how they treat all of their customers. The environment was clean and well kept. The crew even allowed me to take a photo of them. M-Power’s goal is to improve upon what you already have and not make you someone you’re not (a great goal to have).

I was introduced to this salon through a mutual friend of the owner. I can happily say everyone at M-Power has made me feel like not only a friend but my best self when I leave. I started with laser services and have continued to add on areas with the amazing pricing of the package options. Thrilled with the results I’ve seen and the attention to my needs at every visit. I have also expanded to other services and absolutely love the many facial options as well as products available to continue my healthy skin routine long after leaving. I love that they took the guess work out of after care of skin peels by proving a sample package of everything I needed. The kindness and comfort are extended during services like spray tanning than could seem awkward at some businesses, but not here. Making me look and feel my best is always their priority and it shows. I can’t recommend them enough, and in fact have referred many friends who are just as happy with their services as I have been.

I had a terrible experience at M-Power Salon & Spa! I thought I’d try this salon because its close to my house. I went in for a haircut with Trina. I asked to get my ends and layers cleaned up. She asked if I wanted to keep my length and if I liked my layers short, long, or somewhere in between. I told her yes, I want to keep my length and I like my layers in between. She didn’t style my hair, so I straightened it at home. I could see my hair was uneven and I had pieces of long hair that she missed and didn’t cut. Aside from that, my layers were not blended, the layers were cut straight across instead of angled making my hair look boxy. I drove back to show her the hair she missed cutting and my horrible layers. She apologized and tried to blend my layers but by this time she had already cut off about 5 inches of hair. I just don’t think she’s skilled enough to layer hair. I called to speak with the manager (McKenzie) to which she returned my call. I began to try and explain my experience but she said she “listened to the audio” of our conversation and she heard Trina explain to me that layers would not flow well with my type hair. I had to ask her if she had the right client because Trina and I never had that conversation. She said yes and I told her that was a lie, I know for a fact Trina and I never had that conversation. I told her I have always had layers in my hair and I have never had any problems with other stylists layering my hair. I have medium hair that is wavy to curly and I straighten it most times. I asked for my money back to try and go somewhere else to try and fix my hair but she said she couldn’t do that because Trina tried to fix my hair. She said she has another stylist starting next week and I could have her try to fix my hair or get store credit. I said no, I will not allow anyone there to touch my hair and I will never return there ever again. This was my first and last time going to this salon. If you’re thinking about trying this salon, DON’T! Save your money or go anywhere else but here.

I have been using this salons services for the past 7 months. MacKenzie is not only friendly but also super professional. I am super impressed with their services and I would recommend anyone who is thinking about laser hair removal to see them. The results are amazing and so worth it! Plus they are not just focused on getting you in and out but also making a relationship with you so everytime you come in, it feels like you are known and not another face!
