I’ve been to this salon 6-7 times. The first few times were pleasant but the last few times have been awful. I went in for a pedicure and gel manicure on Friday, 9/2, and by Wednesday, 9/7 the gel began to lift. The visit cost me $94, I expected a better quality. This was the last straw for me, I need to go back to Gloss nails across the street. I’ve had issues with a messy polish job, not receiving a full pedicure (no hot towel or massage) and the nail tech unable to complete the nail art selected. They seem nice but too many mistakes.

I have been to this nail salon 5-6 times but the last two times have been a terrible experience. The first was with acrylic nails. I was asking her questions because it seemed like she was in a rush and wasn’t paying attention to the shape. She told me “You worry too much and I will get to the shape when I file”. Ok, fine, she the file comes out and she is so rough with my hands that she files into two of my fingers. By the time she was done, I was bleeding and had two very painful, deep cuts. This last time I went and got manicure and got the same lady. She was trying very hard to upsell me to the gel manicure and told me that she couldn’t find my color because they were out of it, except in the gel. A nice gentleman went to the back and found it very quickly. She proceeded to cut the excess cuticles, buff each nail for half a second, and started painting. It took literally less than 5 minutes for her to finish. She did not even take the time to clean under the nails, clip them, shape them or massage the hands like a typical manicure does. Their website shows it takes 20 minutes to do a manicure. While they were drying, she slapped on the top coat and it was terribly uneven. I know that the regular manicure tends to not last very long and chips after a few days but the top coat did not even cover the whole nail. I brought my best friend with me and another gal was doing her nails, she took a break in the middle of her session to touch up her own nails, giggled, and said “Shh!” When I am helped by the men in this salon, they are very gentle and kind but for whatever reason, these experiences have been awful. I wont say don’t go, but be very cautious and speak up if they are doing it wrong!

I had to change my review.. I’ve been going to this place for a couple months. It started out nice. Then it wasn’t. My pink and whites were never the same color on the fill. You could see every different color from my fills. The last time I went they were so botched. Uneven and the guy didn’t even do what I need done, instead he filled my nails with dip! Just awful . I found an amazing lady! She is at acrylic Deville 1358 north academy. . Im so happy with my new place! Before and after pics below

Worst pedicure, ever! Tried to get it fixed and the lady up front was very annoyed and attempted to insinuate that I was trying to get a free pedicure. Insulting. Don’t come here. My big toe is raw and in pain.

I am so royally disappointed. Never again. I spent 60 dollars on my nails and I had an appt. The technician kept getting g up to do other peoples nails in the middle of mine when I had been waiting. My nails are crooked and the lengths aren’t the same. My nails look like chiclets. Also my nails were rushed so horribly.

Rude, sweeping the floor in my direction shortly after I sat down (only person in the shop at 5:50 pm and they close at 7:00 pm) – crooked filing my nails- asked the lady to please correct a couple of nails and she said “here do it yourself” hi I b me the file and walked away!! Unbelievable. Poor polish application and I asked the man who seemed to be overseeing the operation to please remove the polish, he did politely. I’ll never return.
