It’s a real shame that this will be my last time going back to M-Nails on Walnut. My first experience (red nails) as a walk-in was wonderful, and the nail tech did such a great job so it made me want to schedule an appointment with them again.

Critical: Quality, ValueIf I could give a zero I will. I’m not sure how their other services are but getting acrylic gel done here is a sure waste of money.This was my first visit to M-nails and I went because I was working on crunch time and they had good reviews. On getting there, they didn’t have any pink nudes for women of color. I came up with my own solution to this problem by having them mix colors. Forward to 5 days after the nails started popping off. By day 10 I had lost 5 nails already. This has never happened to me in all my years of getting acrylics.I went back to the store, explained the situation and was told I’ll have to pay to get a new set.I left because I wasn’t going to waste my money that way again.Pictures included were taken on day 12.Service: Acrylic nailsIf I could give a zero I will. If you’re looking for a friendly clientele, this is not the place to go. My roommate and I showed up at the salon at 2:30 for a 2:30 appointment. We were both taken right away to the technician. I came for a simple gel manicure. The first technician knocked my phone off the table and onto the ground and shattered the entire screen. After pretending she didn’t see it, she transferred me to another technician. The second technician started my nails at 4:05 despite having a 2:30 appointment. There were many individuals who came in between 3:30-4:00 who got in and out before me. My second nail technician did an amazing job, but wanted me to pay $70 for the gel manicure. After I nicely explained that my experience wasn’t worth $70, a guy worker stormed up and told me to pay and to never come back to this place. He publicly humiliated me in front of the entire salon despite me being kind and understanding. Definitely do not recommend if you are looking for a friendly environment.

I made an appt for 10 am and arrived and they had one person who started me at 10:05 and then she walked away and gave someone else a pedi and made me wait 45 min! She literally took off my polish and made me wait no apologies. It was not a pleasant experience. Don’t recommend this place. Gel manicures

Since I arrived here in Pittsburgh it is the nail salon where I have my pedicure work. Their job is very good. It is not like a pedicure in Brazil where they almost do a feet treatment, but I understand that here they have more restrictions.

owners/employees are very nice. the spot itself is very bright and modern looking. I got my first dip powder set and they turned out pretty decent. a little thicker than I like normally but just trying it out because I bartend and am seeing if they last longer than gel. again, still turned out good and I like the color a lot.

The owner (I believe he had long hair & a foot cast) is very unwelcoming & rude. I was a new customer and had questions about the service-he would brush me off and aggressively respond to my questions. On top of that, he left me sitting and waiting for 30 min because he was attending to someone else.

Called 3 days ahead of time, made and appointment, took time off work to be here on time and all I get is man yelling at me because they don’t have availability. Extremely rude staff. I liked the service here but I guess it’s just gone downhill after the pandemic. Mai, the manager, was also extremely irresponsible.

Man with the glasses did a terrible job so painful made my hands bleed not the first time I was disappointed with his service he got upset after I moved my hand wrong I was just overall very unhappy and in pain ‼️‼️ I also had an appointment and they didn’t seat us for about an hour after our appointment time. It would have been nice if I didn’t have to pay 70$ for a horrible experience actually two because my moms nails she is also very unhappy with and when I was balling my eyes out because of how painful it was the one lady tried to put alcohol on my cuts !!!! Most of their employees should not be in those chairs doing nails they are not experienced. He knew I was in pain I kept moving and flinching and he just kept doing it, there are so many talented nail artists out there by the look of these reviews and service they need to get some new employees because today they lost my service I am not wasting any more money there.
