This was my first time going through the process of scheduling an appointment with a Mayvenn stylist. I was connected specifically with a stylist and told that the service would be at this location. I was really excited since I was getting this for FREE with the voucher code. Usually, when I get my hair done, it is the same stylist that I go to, so I already know what I’m getting myself in to. Since this was new to me, I wanted to be in communication with the stylist (which I was), but also reach out to the business as well to make sure my appointment was all set. This is where I have an issue. I googled “M & C Hair and Beauty Bar” and it gave the same address that I was given previously. But the first thing that pops up is a message saying “place does not exist.” Also, there is no phone number I can contact. So, I went to the Facebook page and reached out by chat. On Messenger, it says they would typically reply within a few hours. I messaged first to confirm the address. Someone responded within 30 minutes confirming. Afterwards, I messaged again confirming my appointment. No one answered. It has been a week since I reached out. Also, when I go on their Facebook page, there is just one review and the last post is dated back to 2017. So nothing against the stylist at all, but it just seems sketchy since nothing is updated. My advice to the salon would be to update their Facebook page and post their reviews. The lack of information provided from the google search and Facebook page just completely turned me away from wanting to get this FREE service done. I tried to give this a chance, but to me this isn’t worth it. If I could, I would give this place “zero” stars, but Google won’t let me.
