I had an appointment at the salon on base at the PX. While I was in the chair getting my hair done the electricity went out in the entire building so naturally the stylist couldn’t finish my hair. She told me that the salon would call me when the power was back to finish my hair. My appt was at 10 I arrived at 945 so she started early. The power went out at 1015. The salon called me back at 1045 but not so that I could go back they wanted to reschedule for a different day. For whatever reason the stylist couldn’t finish my hair. Anyway I advised that I needed my hair done for a photoshoot and needed it done today but they still couldn’t accommodate me. So I called another salon the lady picked up was super rude and she said she couldn’t help me. I was sitting in my car crying when I called another salon which was Lydia’s and Sarah answered I explained my situation and she told me to go in right then and there. Not only did she fit me in super last minute she was so nice and kind and I am so thankful she was willing to help me. She did such a great job on my hair too I loved it. Sarahs is also great with African American hair i have never had anyone do my hair this good before.. I am Definitely goi g back to Lydia’s I am bringing both my daughters to get their hair done. Sarah is such a life saver and I am so thankful and grateful for her and her kindness

I had the best haircut I’ve had in years today at Lydia’s Hair Salon! In the past 10 years I’ve been in high end salons and paid $75-$100 dollars for a cut that usually only took 15-25 minutes. Today Lydia did the best haircut I’ve had in many, many years! Not only did I leave loving my new style but she actually spent additional time making sure it was perfect. She was also such a great lady to chat and share some laughs with! Thanks Lydia!!

Called in and they said I could have an appt at noon. Went in at noon and said they would help me right away. Waited 20 minutes before walking out as no one helped me while there was someone not helping anyone. Then 2 old ladies come in saying they had just called and were told to come in for a trim. They helped them instead of me. What is the point of making an appointment. Guess they wont want new customers. Wont be coming back. Dont waste your time.

I love Lydia, she accommodated her schedule to fit me in on the holidays, and again when our schedules were so tight, she did it again. Her cuts are modern and fun. I asked to look like Anne Hathaway, when she was in The Devil Wears Prada, and loved the outcome. Now I’m a regular.

Sara is my girl!! She gets me, and my hair! Lol. Her coloring is the best. Consistent and carefully considered. She is an expert hairdresser and the salon is clean and neat. It’s easy to relax there knowing your hair is in good hands! Lydia is a sweet lady and Lee cuts some happy too. All the stylists are great!!

I didn’t love the location, but the service was incredible! Everyone there seemed like repeat costumers. I showed my hairstylist a picture and she did exactly what I wanted but longer because I told her I was growing my hair out. She didn’t try and pressure me to cut it shorter. It was the first time that I have went to a hair salon and been happy with the results.i will definitely be going back!

Fantastic! It’s hard to find a stylist on the island that not only has experience with short hair cuts but who is talented with them as well and Lee knocked it out of the park! My hair looks perfect and is perfectly blended. I can’t wait to go back and have her do my color as well! This is definitely the only salon I’m going to here!! Also, the prices are amazing and well worth it. They use Paul Mitchell products and the vibe is one of the Paul Mitchell salons you would find in any big city!!!! Don’t go anywhere else!
