I went in a few times. The last time I went in, another woman came in when my nails were nowhere close to being done. Ly Ly (the only person working in the salon) began rushing my nails and left them lumpy and messy. When I pointed it out, she told me “no, no, they’re good.” THEY WERE NOT GOOD. She prioritized the other woman even though my nails weren’t done, asking me to wait so she could apply the top coat AFTER she started on the other woman’s nails – as if I had nowhere else to be!!! So rude. So unprofessional. Within days, my nails were lifting and catching in my hair bc of her shotty work. I will DEFINITELY not be going back. I will only give my money to someone who is kind and professional. As a business owner, shame on this nail salon. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Take pride in your work. It’s a small town. No one appreciates being treated like they don’t matter.

I went to Ly Ly twice and had similarly bad experiences both times. It was not easy to make appointments and the owner didn’t provide a lot of options for times I could come. She would offer 1 or 2 time slots and if that didn’t work, she’d just say to call back. Both times I got dip powder manicure and had issues with chipping a few days after the manicures. There’s really no parking at the salon; it’s up to you to find street parking and Elm Street is really bad for that. I was also told what nail length/shape to get rather than having my request listened to. After giving it a few tries, I opted to find another nail salon. It might be worth giving a try, who knows maybe I just caught the owner on some off days?

Professional service, cute place. The younger lady even touched up one of my nails at the end of my service to perfect it. They use a hot stone on your calfs and the bottom of your feet for a bit which is so nice

I was really excited to try this place but when I called they wouldn’t let me make an appointment because they’re fully booked, apparently the regulars book every two weeks and there’s no room? Which is great for them! But bummer for me. Their pics look great.

I was the only one in there and felt pampered. There are a number of options in Montpelier for nail salons, however I only choose Lyly Nails because the quality of work is great! They are quick, clean, and the shellac color lasts up to three weeks – which is what I want. Call 3-4 days ahead because they are super busy with a ton of loyal customers who have regular appointments! I’ve been a happy customer for the last five years.

I’ve been getting my nails done for years, and I have to say that the gel manicure I received over 2 weeks ago is among the best I’ve ever received! I live out of town and was visiting family when I went to get my nails done. Some salons may have done a sub-par job, knowing I was from out of town. Quite to the contrary!! My nails still look great, the service was very prompt, and the price was right! Highly recommend!!
