Found this gem of a nail salon on my way home, just a quick walk from the Caltrain station. The staff is SO sweet! And very excited about nail designs. I opted for an ombré nail but I’m inspired to get something more glammed out next time for the holiday season. I’ve never had such a horrible experience with any nail tech until I came to this place and I’ve been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for over 5 years now. I specifically asked for them to soak my SNS off my natural nails since I don’t like the constant drilling. I repeated myself several times, they still kept drilling to the point I told her to stop and let me soak my nails. I simply asked for cotton ball and soak them in acetone so I can rub my nails on the cotton ball and it will come off easily in 5 minutes. She give me one single cotton ball to take off polish off TEN nails. Then she pulls my hand to check and I told her it’s not off yet and she SHOVES my hand back in the bowl of acetone with great force. I was shocked. I’ve never been treated like that by any nail technician. I didn’t even let them apply the SNS. I let her know how rude she was and how they need to learn how to listen to the customer. I’m paying for a service and that’s what matters. Not my race or age! I would not recommend this rude unprofessional so call nail salon. No wonder it was empty on a Friday.
