I have been getting my nails done for about 6 years with dip and recently moved to NY looking for a place I can turn into an advid client. I have gotten my nails done about 5 times with LUXX thinking maybe the next time will be better. This last time was my last. About a week ago I got the acrylic taken off my real nails due to poor quality and had them put gel polish due to the lack of knowing how to lay acrylic and also refused to play dip on my nails when I asked. The younger gentlemen I had messed my nails up and when he was clipping them cut my skin on multiple nailed. This which led me to an infection which I assume the clippers were dirty. I’ve never seen them pull out clean utensils always filers/buffers that have been used. Never in my six years have I had an issue with infection in my nails I will not be going back. The lady who’s desk is on the far left back closer to the pedicure seats makes you feel very uncomfortable and is very unprofessional about you not making an appointment. When clearly on the door it states walk-ins are welcome.

This was my first visit here. It was mostly disappointing. I got the hot stone pedicure for $30. The massage on my legs was short and very light. The hot stones were not massaged into my legs, just rubbed over my legs. I’m not sure if the metal tools are sanitized because they were not pulled out of an autoclave package. I was cut on 2 toes and the polish is a little messy.

Don’t waste your time or money here. The smell in there was horrid; and not typical nail salon bad like migraine bad. The employees are not friendly. One gave me a lot of attitude when I asked a question about my nails. The dip powder is not even strong- my nails bend and hurt a bit.

The worst pedicures my wife and I ever had. The whole experience right from the start was awful! First both employees were unprofessional, never talked only to each other and most of all didn’t communicate anything they were doing. I had to pay $31.00 which is fine if you get the full pedicure had to come home and finish clipping my nails left sides on about 5 toes.. I was done in less than 20 minutes. My wife’s was about 40 minutes he could not get her old nail polish off and never put a base coat on before he did her nails then started cleaning up around her so she thought he was done only to have him come out and ask her to come back in…. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Get some employees with a personality and teach them how to communicate!!! Don’t waste your money you have been warned….

I wish I had a better experience here. I am not from the area but wanted to take my Mom for a pedicure. The guy that did my Mom’s was very friendly which is why I did not make a fuss about the horrible experience I had with the lady who did mine. She was older and did not understand anything I said which is fine but she was VERY rude. She gave me dirty looks and slapped my legs around. She even rolled her eyes at me. I paid extra for the callous remover and she barely did anything. Then she put some gross “cuticle oil” all over my legs and I broke out in a huge rash. Now I’m on prednisone for the rash. So not a great experience and I would recommend not letting that lady interact with the public.
