First time coming here. Usually go to Plainfield Nails and Spa or a little shop on 10th St. Honestly I expected a bit more from this place considering its location. I wanted ombre but the gentleman said i couldn’t because I asked for gel polish (which has never been a problem in ANY salon I’ve gone to throughout the country). I asked if he had any stickers got an answer that they might be to big or thick (which really doesn’t bother me much i just like stickers). In the end i got one single plain color. Didn’t get asked if I’d possibly want a design or anything since nothing else I wanted was available how I wanted it. I try to be patient and flexible but at the end of the day I’m disappointed by the end result. The cost should include the flexibility one tries to give to the employee which is also why I tipped the best possible always. Hopefully it’s not a reccuring thing to feel rushed and limited on what you can and can’t do to your nails.

I had a very pleasant experience. Customer service was wonderful. My only down side I was bounced around from one tech to another before someone did my nails. I also didn’t realize that gel polish is an extra $15 dollars. Overall it’s a great nail salon. I would recommend.

I came to the salon yesterday to get acrylics nails and a pedicure. The woman who did my pedicure was very very nice and I enjoyed her presence. She was so kind and made me feel very welcomed. Even the person to greet me was so nice. However I can’t say the same for the woman in blue that did my nails. From the moment I went to her I just asked a simple question about price and she almost looked like I was annoying her and she wanted me to stop talking. In between doing the nails she just stopped completely to have a conversation with other employees and didn’t do my nails and had me sitting there in awkwardness. On top of that I didn’t realize she wanted me to put my hands back she didn’t say anything just shoved my hand back and when I realized she proceeded to talk about it with other employees and it felt as though she was mocking me. She proceeded to give me looks which I thought was not necessary. It was only my second time getting nails. She continued to make the hand gestures to her employees and I felt very embarrassed and awkward. She also kept going on the phone to talk and was not listening to my questions and was very frustrated with my presence. But she did an amazing job on my nails aside from a minor cut. I love my nails so much and am so happy for that but because of how I felt inside the salon I can’t say that I’ll be back in the future or that I can recommend. I wish you the best!

Ive been coming to this shop for roughly 2 years. I love the service I receive, the staff is very nice. I have rather rough feet and they take their time to remove all dead skin from underneath the nail and my ingrown nails. I’ve only had one issue and Teresa took care of it right away. Due to my personal experience I would recommend this nail and spa based off my customer service experience.
