Critical: ProfessionalismI began coming here after my mom told me all about their awesome prices. First few times I was very happy with regular manicures and even began getting some shellac done. Very simple but very cute. On Valentine’s day, I wanted to go out and decided to get some acrylics with some hearts. The design looked terrible so I just painted over them with regular polish. While I loved the shape of the acrylics, the drawing of the hearts were just terrible. I stuck with it though, and gave them another chance but went back to my regular manis and the special occasion shellac. But I called the other day and made an appointment, where they told me a time that would work for me to come. I show up the day of the appointment, right on time, only to be told they did not answer the phone and gave me an appointment. I was told they were already booked and they wouldn’t double book, and that I did not call. So not only did I not have an appointment (even though THEY toldme to come at that specific time) but they were also saying I did not call and made it seem like I was trying to get away with a lie? Don’t get me wrong, the staff is friendly, their prices really are awesome and the salon is fairly clean! I understand these things happen at times, but the way it was handled was not at all professional! I left the salon soon after and found an appointment somewhere else. Another thing worth pointing out is the fact that they’re way understaffed! At times it is just one nail tech in the salon and they will tell you that it is not possible to get both a manicure and a pedicure.
